Dear [redacted] ***,Thank you for taking the time to speak with my office manager recently with respect to the complaint filed by [redacted] (ID [redacted] )** [redacted] had requested a refund of a copay several times to our previous office manager, [redacted] ** [redacted] failed to respond to the request for refund in a timely manner** [redacted] has since left the practice and we hired a new office manager recentlyI was notified in March of the patient request for refund and did write a check on March 18, in the amount of $and we did mail that check to [redacted] The check was cashed on May 19, Please find enclosed a copy of that cashed check and bank adjudication proof.We regret the patient inquiry was not responded to in a timely fashion due to the lack of action on the part of ** [redacted] We can not explain why the patient decided to hold onto the check for as long as she didAs of now, we consider the complaint and request fully addressedShould you require any additional information we would be happy to engageThank you for your inquiry
