4. Payment and Refund Policies.
(a) Your Initial Deposit ("Initial Deposit") is $999. The Initial Deposit is for the sole purpose of reserving your position in the Program and covering certain related administrative expenses. Upon receiving your Initial Deposit, DCI agrees to place you in an internship by the "Placement Deadline," which is 14 days prior to the commencement date of the Program you selected ("Commencement Date"). If DCI is unable to place you in an internship acceptable to you by the Placement Deadline, despite your full cooperation in the placement process in DCI's sole discretion, you will be given the option (i) to drop out of the Program and receive a refund of your Initial Deposit and all other Program payments made by you with the exception of the application fee ("Full Refund"), or (ii) to request that DCI continue the search process until you are placed; and if DCI is still unable to place you within the extended time, you will receive a Full Refund. (Note: Your application fee is not refundable under any circumstances.) Once you have accepted an internship presented by DCI, you will not receive a refund.
(b) However, if you withdraw from the Program for any reason before your acceptance of an internship with a Sponsor, other than DCI's failure to place you by the Placement Deadline or such other date as agreed to between you and DCI, or if DCI determines, in its sole discretion, that you did not fully cooperate in the placement process at any time before the Placement Deadline (including but not limited to, your failure to actively work with your assigned DCI representatives, skipping or missing scheduled internship interviews, not engaging in internship discussions with your Internship Coordinator, not responding to DCI communications in a timely manner, or allowing the placement process to be delayed due to missing agreed payment due dates), you will receive a refund of 50% of your program fee, not including the Initial Deposit which shall be forfeited. If you withdraw from the Program for any reason after accepting an internship, you will not receive a refund of any payment to DCI, and you shall remain liable for the balance of any program fees owed. In the event your participation in a program after accepting an internship is delayed due to obtaining a visa, late enrollment, or any other reason not entirely within DCI's control, you will not be entitled to a refund or reduction in the program fees. All requests for refunds must be received by DCI in writing with proof of receipt within 30 days of your withdrawal. Failure to notify us of your refund request within 30 days of your withdrawal will result in your forfeiture of any refunds. All refunds are subject to this Section 4 without exception. Supplemental documentation may be required. Except for any personal injury claims primarily caused by DCI, DCI is not liable to you for any claims at any time for any amount in excess of the fees you have paid to DCI.
(c) All payments must be paid by the due dates specified under the payment plan you choose upon enrollment. If a payment is delinquent for 5 days or more, DCI will place an automatic hold on the participant's account until all payments are up to date and you may be barred from any further participation in the Program. Late Payments will incur an interest rate of 1% per calendar month, or any part thereof, (12% per annum) in addition to a $100 late payment fee. A hold on an account can consist of (but is not limited to) a complete stop in the Placement Process or stop in the Program Process. A hold status can only be removed from the account once payments are up to date.
(d) All payments will be charged automatically on the due dates specified under the payment plan you have chosen. The credit card charged for any amounts owed is the credit card you have selected herein used to pay your initial payment. Any changes to your method of payment must be arranged 24 hours prior to the due date. DCI will not issue a refund if the amount charged was previously processed on your selected credit card. There will be a $50 administration fee if there is a dispute or chargeback issued that is closed in favor of Dream Careers.
(e) All program fees must be paid in full thirty (30) days prior to the start of the program. Participant will not be allowed to check into housing, begin their internship or receive any program benefits until the account is paid in full.
(f) DCI reserves the right to collect any unpaid balances due to DCI and may turn delinquent accounts over to a third party debt collection agency. In the event DCI incurs any costs in connection with any past-due balance or amount owed by you to DCI, you shall be liable for any costs in connection with such collection including reasonable attorney's fees or court costs.
7. Payment Policy and Options. The Program Price must be paid in full one month prior to the Commencement Date. The Initial Deposit must be paid by credit card or debit card when you electronically execute this Agreement (as described in paragraph 1), and will be applied to the Program Price (please use payment link provided after electronically executing this Agreement). You must select a payment plan and method for paying the balance of the Program Price through DCI's payment processing system. You agree to pay the balance according to the payment terms selected by you at the time of enrollment in accordance with DCI's Payment Options.
8. Non-Cancelable Program Price. (a) When you electronically execute this Agreement (as described in paragraph 1) and if DCI accepts your application to participate in the Program, DCI will reserve your position in the Program and will make certain financial commitments related to your participation in the Program. Therefore, you understand and agree that when you electronically indicate your agreement to the terms herein by clicking the Terms and Conditions box on the DCI Enrollment Offer webpage, your obligation to pay the entire Program Price is irrevocable and non-cancelable for any reason whatsoever, except for the refund policy as set forth in paragraph 4 of this Agreement regardless of whether or not circumstances outside DCI's control result in termination of the Program.

I do not accept this response because every time I complain about not getting a refund, I get the same terms and conditions sent to me. These terms and conditions mean nothing to me. Why do I have to give this company $999 for doing nothing? They have provided me with nothing. There is no reason to give them all this money. Their staff has poor [redacted]. I actually would've done the program at a different time period but at this point they have turned me off.
