Review: I had been using the laundromat's drop off service for 3+ years. In Jan '14, I dropped off laundry specifically to wash new pants for vacation. The laundromat washed the clothes, but the pants were not returned. There isn't an easy way to reach the [redacted], but I eventually was able to reach someone to ask if they could locate the pants, or alternatively, reimburse me for the pants. Instead of trying to be helpful, the [redacted] was rude, accused me of trying to rip off the laundromat, and implied that I was lying about the pants they lost. She refused to reimburse me, even after I offered a credit card statement showing the purchase and a record of the online price from the store. She said that at best, she would discuss with the owner and I might get less than $89 since I had the pants for a month. The fact that I had been a repeat customer for years without complaint (despite having other items misplaced) did not spare me rude, accusatory treatment.Desired Settlement: I want to be reimbursed the $89 I paid for the pants, plus the cost of laundry service for that batch.
