Choosing to work on a holiday weekend is no excuse for poor service or for over billing a customer I agree you should be paid from the time the job starts at the original address to the time the move is finished at the destination I also agreed to $for travel time and $for fuel To additionally bill an additional hours for your own personal travel time on top of that is unethical and inappropriate Additionally, items were all packed in boxes and luggage and there were some free standing lamps I have used professional movers in the past and this has never been an issue Instead of informing me that they were unsatisfied with the way things were packed and telling me there would be a $25/box charge, the movers simply decided to repack these items to make it easier for themselves The movers had an obligation to inform me of this additional charge and they conveniently did not I would have gladly packed these boxes myself if I knew this was an issue From reading previous Revdex.com complaints, it appears this is a trend for them I double checked my phone and I called Eric times over the course of several hours because his workers could not answer any of my questions or concerns and Eric repeatedly ignored my phone calls and voicemails and even hung up on me when he finally picked up Based on information provided in my original message the job was from 9-4:(including the additional hour of travel time for when his workers were lost) and an additional $for travel time and gas that was agreed upon amounting to $ This is $less than what I paid and I should be refunded the difference
