Review: Mitch Cizek was very hard to deal with and extremely unprofessional. There were so many personal slights throughout the beginning and ending of this contract that I can't state them all. I'll state only the most unprofessional ones and why I am reporting him to the Revdex.com and Licensing Bureau's.

(1) The work covered on the contract was not even half completed when he pulled his worker, who was then working in my bathroom, saying he had decided not to complete the contract and that he and his worker were leaving. We argued and after I agreed to pay him an additional $500.00, he agreed to complete the contract. (I have a copy of the check.) (2) Mitch then began "cutting corners" secretly on the contract. When the original entrance Fire Door from my attached garage into my house would not latch properly, he replaced the original Fire Door with a regular door, not a Fire Door and did not tell me. I would never have known this but my security system was connected to the original, now replaced door. I needed to call my Security Co. to rework the connection to the new door. The Security person who re-hooked it immediately informed me that the door Mitch had installed was not under regulations and was not a Fire Door as required. (3) In the contract Mitch was to replace the exterior outside entrance door to my downstairs bathroom. He put in an all wood interior door instead. (I found this out by seeing the door labels in the trash.) When I confronted him about it he said there was no difference in the doors. This is not true. The interior door is I/2" shorter than an exterior door. In my contract he was to install an exterior door and a new threshold. He never installed the new threshold. Because of this shortness and old threshold, if I hose the bathroom door from outside, water comes onto the tile---quite a lot--- from under the door. This led to the latest most resent big disaster! He said he was coming to my house to replace the old threshold with the new one, as written in the contract, but when he arrived he said the door looked fine and began staging everything and making a big scene, even involving two of his workers, who looked so uncomfortable, in the staging. This man should not be in business. He is so unprofessional and has no principals. He treated me rudely almost from the very beginning.I hope these complaints might others.Desired Settlement: Refund or finish the job
