The cabinets I ordered have defects, the granite installed has defects, the company measured wrong, my property was damaged during installation.I purchased cabinets and granite from Dream Kitchens. The measurements were taken wrong, causing me to have to purchase a new window for the cabinets to fit and leaving me with an 8" gap between the wall and upper cabinets. The granite has several scratches and marks, the sink was scratched. My wall was crushed when the granite was installed in two places. I was sold a kitchen island that did not fit in my kitchen. My stove has a large gouge out of it from the granite install. I have brought these issues to the attention of Dream Kitchens and they have made no effort to resolve the issue, only demand payment in full. I have invoices for the money I have spent to rectify these issues and would like my final payment discounted accordingly.Desired SettlementI would like my final payment discounted based on the amount of money I have had to spend for a job that was completed poorly. I have pictures and invoices to support my claim. Business Response [redacted] ordered cabinets and granite countertops from us on [redacted] She left a 50% deposit on that date. They signed-off on the final invoice price, final design/floor plan & final 3-D drawing. After the kitchen was installed, they were happy. Their email reads "Overall we are happy...." They did have a few questions as to how to resolve a small space issue caused by the window not being placed where the final design indicates. And a question about the granite install. We attempted to resolve her concerns many, many times. [redacted]'s husband/boyfriend called our designer and screamed at her and our receptionist. I then tried to get involve to help resolve their issues. He refused to let me speak or even ask questions. He then hung up on me.On another occasion, I was able to speak for just 30 seconds before he hung up on me again. I asked him if I can go over to look at the problems or if he could send us pictures - he again refused. Every phone conversation I've had with him (3), he screamed at me, does not let me talk, and hangs up on me. I have always been calm, listen to what he had to say and did not yell back - then he hangs up. Several weeks later, we tried to reach out again to them via emails, postal letters, cell phone calls and text messages. Their responses were "Don't contact us again". (I have hard copies of their responses). A have since retained a lawyer and he sent them a letter of demand. We never received a written response, a payment, a written list of their complaints or pictures to explain what the issues were. Last month I submitted paperwork for us to go to small claims court. Our court date is scheduled for next month.My record with the Revdex.com is spotless and I would like to keep it that way. I cannot help [redacted] if she does not tell me what the issues are and does not allow me or my workers access to their home to resolve or fix these issues.
