Dream Marriage Reviews (4)

I had been listed on dream marriage in February. I found women to be talking sexually. And I had problems with the chat systems on the site and was billed incorrectly. Not only this I had found many false profiles. I had found 2 profiles of the same girl that I had communicated with and had contacted. another lady in witch I had contacted on the site. So I decided to find her on ** and I found her and contacted her and she denied ever having such contact with me or publishing a profile ID[redacted] Not only I had found another that I had serious communication with ID[redacted] And found her real profile that she had a different name etc. I have proof of all of this and I have given it to the company dream-marriage. They lied to me and deceived me and defrauded me. They have done this to thousands of men and make money off scamming people like me. The women are paid to communicate the testimonies are only meet and greets not actual sucess stories. I want my $2200 refunded ASAP!!Desired Settlement I want all my money returned from these fraudsters ASAPBusiness Response [redacted] started complaining almost immediately after he joined Dream-Marriage, but even as he was complaining he was still purchasing credits and chatting with the very ladies he was complaining about. It became apparent to me even then that [redacted] might dispute the purchases he was making so I had an Administrator write to him and ask him to verify his identity and that he was indeed making the purchases himself, and he did verify this."Ticket [redacted]: Hi[redacted] 16 February 2014 14:37Hi:I have not had a pleasant experience from your website and demand that all my payments are returned"Our Response"Dream-Marriage 16 February 2014 15:43Hello [redacted],We are sorry that you are not satisfied with our services. You can confirm their identity using Live Chat, Live Video and by watching their Introductory Videos. We work hard to keep our database clean from bogus profiles. Look for the icon `Confirmed Profile` on the lady`s personal page - it means our representative personally interviewed the lady to ensure she is a good candidate for using an international marriage agency. Additionally, our representative confirmed her identity using either background checks, passport and/or other means of verifiable information. We do have a no refund policy and this information is found in our Terms and Conditions statement on your Home Page. It has been copied here for your convenience.5. REFUNDS/NO CHARGEBACKSNo fees shall be refunded and all sales are final. All credit card charge backs are subject to our potential objection. We sincerely are desirous of helping people find a true match!Sincerely,[redacted]Dream-Marriage Customer ServiceThere were several of inquiries almost identical in nature to the inquiry above. The demands became threatening in nature to our business, so I escalated [redacted] inquiries to our Legal Department.3/5/2014 9:28 PMHello [redacted],My name is [redacted] I am contacting you regarding your account and recent request for a refund.I am sure that you are aware of our no refund policy. Please know that the services you pay for are consumed meaning completely used and therefore non refundable by nature as there is nothing to return. Now with that said I would like to assist you and not leave you an unhappy customer. I am here to address all of your concerns. If we should need to [redacted] may be better form of communication. My [redacted] ID is [redacted] I will be available after 11am PST tomorrow.Thank you,[redacted]3/26/2014 11:24 AMHello [redacted],I have thoroughly investigated your account and the findings are quite different than what you have expressed. Your billing and activity coincide with each other and it is documented accordingly. It seems that your intentions on the site is different than what the platform we provide should allow. While I tried to find a way to help based on what you told me, there is not much that can be done based on your activity. I have extended the offer to as a courtesy refund you 500 credits if there was a chance that much was spent in error, but you refused.I can only say that I am sorry our site did not work out for you, and we cannot accommodate your request for a full refund. You continued to use the site despite customer service explaining everything to you and you verifying your spending. Please do not write any more abusive or threatening letters to us as this matter is considered closed. If you will accept the partial courtesy refund offer then please write only that you accept it.Thank you,[redacted]Legal DepartmentWe have looked into every inquiry and issue [redacted], has brought to our attention, and again in every case but one he initiated the sexual banter. He complained about ladies that he had not had any history with on our Site. We explained several times that we do NOT make refunds for these as we were not responsible for those. In our opinion [redacted] has had a classic case of buyers remorse. As in very short time he spent a very large sum on our Site, as I stated above this was of concern to me almost immediately and he did continue to make purchases even as he complained. His credit purchase history is copied belowCredits Bought : [redacted]Credits BoughtCredits/Price Merchant Date Refund 500.00/$199.00 PV 11:11:32 22 February 2014 Refunded on 2014-03-26 17:19:45 by [redacted]Refund ID: [redacted]500.00/$199.00 PP 02:13:35 19 February 2014 500.00/$199.00 TMS 03:27:35 18 February 2014 500.00/$199.00 PV 05:29:05 17 February 2014 500.00/$199.00 TMS 00:32:54 17 February 2014 500.00/$199.00 WF 12:25:05 15 February 2014 500.00/$198.10 AN 03:58:24 15 February 2014 500.00/$199.00 PV 13:17:50 13 February 2014 500.00/$199.00 TMS 13:22:52 12 February 2014 500.00/$199.00 OP 07:20:16 12 February 2014 500.00/$199.00 PP 03:49:08 12 February 2014 view full log (11 records)Total: 5500.00 credits bought - $2,189.00 dollars spentIt is important to note that [redacted] indeed continued to make purchases after his initial complaint made on February 16,2014.Even after we stated several times that we DO NOT MAKE REFUNDS we still did refund the final purchase of a 500 credit package even though all that remained on balance of that purchase was 18 credits, the refund was for $199.00 the refund was processed by myself: Refunded on 2014-03-26 17:19:45 by [redacted].We feel that we have done all that we can to accommodate [redacted] .[redacted] did write in and ask that his account be cancelled and obliged his request we closed his account as a Trouble Client. We are very happy to go the extra mile for all of our Members, but we will not be bullied or threatened into refunding purchases when the Member was fully advised of how our Site works and what he was spending even verifying that he knew what he was doing and that he was indeed the person doing it.We feel that we have been more than accommodating to [redacted] even while he has been very abusive during his contact with us.We are not prepared to make further refunds and [redacted] is not welcome back on our Site.Thank you,[redacted]Senior Customer Service ManagerConsumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)yes it is true that I was unkind to the company I admit that. It is not a case of consumer remorse. I had found several issues since leaving the site regarding the women in witch I had corresponded with. There company has unfortunately deceived me. [redacted] was a kind person but [redacted] was awful to deal with. I had asked the company kindly to return my money and they know why! There affiliate agencies that they are associated with are deceitful and wrong and unethical and dishonest business practices. I have provided marriage with the evidence and refuse to do anything about it. Because they are dishonest company witch is a shame. I have asked for the truth and I get nothing.Final Business Response This is our final reply about this account and Client; From the beginning of this situation we have been very clear, there will be no further refunds. We have investigated all of the Clients claims and complaints and we have found all groundless. In fact the attachment he has provided in this complaint is of a Lady that is no longer a member of our Site.We state clearly in our Terms and Conditions that we DON'T make refunds, yet we broke our own policy and made one refund of $199.00 even though the Client had used up all but 18 credits from that final purchase. As we have also stated previously; We apologize that you are dissatisfied with our services. Each time you have written us, we have attempted to answer your questions clearly and efficiently. Concerning any problems you have experienced with your account, we have been able to provide an explanation which we thought would help you better understand how to use your account and our services. We answer questions and resolve issues with a great amount of care and concern for our customers. We are happy to go the extra mile for our clients. Within reason, we are happy to do all it takes to keep our clients happy. However, it is unfair and/or unreasonable for Clients to demand refunds for services they have used up. We do not comply with the threats of our Clients unless we are at fault. So we thank the Client for being a valuable member of Dream Marriage, and we apologize if your dissatisfaction.Final Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)Thanks so much for responding guys. Very much appreciative! You have shown great kindness in responding. Dream-marriage. once agian take this as my formal apology for my rude behaviour early on in our correspondence. I'm telling you it is not a case of buyers remorse. It is genuine concern. I have provided you with further information that women in witch I had corresponded with to be true. and investigated it myself and checked and doubled checked. I had found a model named [redacted] ID [redacted] who is the same female as [redacted] from [redacted] who was 22 years of age all of a sudden her profile has disappeared!. I do not know the profile number, But you can check in the correspondence history I also have screen shots. I had also reported that [redacted] ID [redacted] denied ever having a communication with me through the site as I found on her real profile on **. and as I found she has a boyfriend. And have a photo as proof. I also have screen shots of comparison's of the same model ID[redacted] and the other [redacted] 22 years of age from [redacted] in witch I had correspondence with. And as well as with Profile [redacted] ID [redacted]. As I was having a convosation with her . see her cam and she starts to dance around the room sexually and lift up her shirt as well as when i'm not typing to her she is communicating with other men and when I just questioned her about it she turns off her cam and does not communicate. When I was getting hundreds of emails a day I found dozens of duplicated emails from the same women at different times. I had also reported to [redacted] about the glitches that were happening on the site and that the chat system had been freezing up. Dream-marriage these ID's are ones I have communicated with. And you had charged me 2 credits per minute instead of one! And it states before you correspond that you will be billed 1 per minute for chat and 2 for video!!! It only says in the membership upgrades that you will save 50% off chat. Giving no indication that you will be billed 2 for chat! I did the honnest thing in identifying my spending of course! I'm not going to say it wasn't but it was! there is no denying that. But the level of service that I have honestly received I find apauling and deceiving. Stop saying that it is remorseful spending!!! Its NOT guys!! You know [redacted] my intentions were not good at first your right by that! But when I chatted to many of the women about there lives and finding out where they live etc I had found 2 in witch I liked on the site and we said sweet things to each other. But when you find out that the person in the pictures are not the one your talking too or have don't have honest intentions then as a customer you feel pretty cut. When talked more after the 16th I decided to give it another try. then on the 18th I read reviews of the site and wanted my account to be shut down because of the reputation and the women who wanted to talk dirty all the time! And they kindly did what I asked and shut my account down. Then I did more digging and spoke to other customers on the site and there experience. It was not good. the outcomes or the reputation of the site. I looked into many of the women who I had communication with and found very different results as what are on the site. Its clear to them and me that i'm not a happy customer and feel quiet broken. It has given me lots of stress and anxiety over the past 3 months. And I know that I have not been the best person to communicate with. And it was wrong of me to be angry and take out my anger with the staff. But I feel so deeply ripped off and very scared from the experience. I have not gone to the bank to dispute this and have tried to dispute it with your company the proper way. Your company's statement about the women being real etc I don't want your opion on your site. You guys have to listen to mine, and not just put out your own comments. I know i'm not a customer anymore but I was... and I know I was difficult to deal with. Look I don't want to be at war with you I want to come to a resolution and make it right. A company and client shouldn't be at each others throats. All of this has genuinely happened and its not fair to me and its not fair that we must be angry at each other and to be civilised. Please lets come to a resolution and not dog fight. I do apologise for calling you fraudsters and I really hope your not. But please show that you do care. I have given you a detailed and honest genuine response and am more than happy to provide further evidence. From [redacted].

Without proper notice, Dream Marriage deactivates members DURING their final day, NOT AFTER the entire final day. Then discards their letter balance.Dear Revdex.com,I am having a disagreement with Dream Marriage regarding their cancelation policies. They were given three opportunities (9/7, 9/9 @12:30p and 9/9 @10p) to respond to the following request:"Please explain how you have properly informed me, IN ADVANCE, that my membership would be deactivated BEFORE midnight, in my time zone (the change of date) on its final day." My complaint is about my membership deactivation occurring hours earlier than their written information leads customers to believe. This is a simple problem, in my opinion. Dream Marriage is marketing its service in 30 "DAY" increments, however Dream Marriage is not deactivating memberships in full DAY increments. Dream Marriage is following memberships in HOUR and even MINUTE increments, while only advertising the use of its services in DAY increments.Dream Marriage failed to inform me, in advance, that my membership would be deactivated, 4 hours before the completion of its final day. I was only informed that my membership would expire on September 7th, which did not include any specific time of day. Without a specific time of day being included in these notices, this minimal information implies that the membership would remain active throughout September 7th and then be deactivated no earlier than 12:01am, on September 8th.Dream Marriage is executing a double standard in this regard. Dream Marriage, currently does not honor the entire last day of an active membership. Dream Marriage wants to deactivate memberships in 720 hour (24hrs x 30days) increments, instead of full days. Without including a specific time the member will be deactivated, customers deserve their 30 full days of active membership. Customers deserve to know what hour (and minute?) of the day will be their last. If Dream Marriage refuses to provide a time of day the deactivation will occur, in advance, customers deserve to receive their service for the entire last day of their paid term. If Dream Marriage prefers to deactivate memberships at the correct hour, minute or even second, then that hour minute or even second needs to be included in the expiration information, not just the date alone. In my personal experience, I logged in, after my guests had left for the evening. It was Monday, September 7th, the last day of my active membership, so I wanted to send out my balance of "follow up" letters. Tonight, I figured out that there were 6 follow up letters, which I had saved for this final day. Choosing which ladies to contact is very troublesome for me! I planned on responding to a few ladies and then using the balance for more introduction letters (copy and paste). This could have easily been completed before September 7th became September 8th, at midnight. When I logged in, I had learned that my membership had already been deactivated without the arrival of September 8th. It was upsetting to learn that my 6 remaining follow up letters had been wasted. This wasted portion of my investment (membership) motivates me to prevent this loss from happening to new customers or to me again in the future.Dream Marriage responded to my messages all three times, but never explained how they had properly informed me, IN ADVANCE, that my membership would be deactivated BEFORE midnight, in my time zone (the change of date) on its final day. Maybe it is because they did not inform me, IN ADVANCE!Dream Marriage needs to respect how different customers may choose to use their time. It is time, which we have purchased and we should not be required to guess which hour or minute our services will be deactivated. If it is too much trouble for them to provide this information, the deactivation should occur only AFTER the date changes.Desired SettlementFirst of all, I would appreciate that Dream Marriage agree to replace the 6 "follow up" messages that their premature deactivation had wasted from my membership. Then I would be happy to begin another 30 day membership.Secondly, I would expect Dream Marriage to only deactivate members AFTER, their entire final day, not during their final day of membership. If Dream Marriage is too cheap to give away a partial day, then they must begin disclosing the time of day a member will be deactivated, if they want to respect their customers.Business Response [redacted] selected the Cancel at the end of the cycle option for his Platinum level membership he also confirmed this request I have copied that action for you below:on August 08 2015 cancelled at the end of pay cycle (Don't Like This Service) - Email Confirmed[redacted] has written on 3 occasions asking why his Platinum membership was cancelled before midnight on September 7,2015.We have explained in replies to all 3 inquiries that all memberships are renewed and cancelled at the end of the 30 day cycle which for our company runs from approximately 20:00 hours PST from the date of the Members beginning cycle until the 30 days is up. Our cycles do not run from midnight to midnight. When [redacted] selected the cancel at the end of the cycle and replied to his confirmation email he received a message on his account stating that his Platinum membership would be cancelled per his request on September 7,2015 there was no hour of cancellation stated at all and this is because the message is an automated response to his confirmation email, and because our site is an International site we have no idea where the Member is at geologically so a time is not stated.[redacted] did not write in about his cancellation until after the fact, he never inquired before the cancellation as to what time the cancel action would take place on September 7,2015. I have provided for you below the original membership renewal debit for [redacted]'s account :2015-08-07 20:12:30 as you can see his original membership renewal was debited at 20:12:30 hours. All of the above said [redacted]'s Platinum membership cancelled per his OWN confirmed request and it did so at the correct interval time.We have again explained all of this to [redacted], he is however dissatisfied, so he has come to you for resolution. We cannot reinstate [redacted]'s Platinum membership as he has cancelled it and when the Platinum membership cancelled the benefits remaining on balance are gone.Had at any point [redacted] written in to get these details before his Platinum membership had cancelled we would have happily explained to him how the process works. There was no inquiry about this BEFORE the cancel action took place.Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)Dear Revdex.com,Thank you for my 5th opportunity to explain to Dream Marriage one way that they are not treating their members fairly or respectfully.I do not accept the response from Dream Marriage, because they have not agreed to take any action regarding my claims. Dream Marriage denies any problems with their practice and has not agreed to replace my balance of "follow up" letters that they had discarded without my prior knowledge that this event would occur.Again, I will point out that there is no dispute in the fact that I decided to cancel my membership. I did select that my membership would not automatically renew for financial reasons. I was also frustrated at the time, because I could not control which ages of the ladies were sending messages to me. Most of the ladies that contact me are much too young to consider for a serious relationship. The dispute is not about my membership being cancelled. The dispute is about my membership being cancelled BEFORE the end of its final day. There was no reason for me to inquire about what time on September 7th my membership would be deactivated, because it is a reasonable assumption to believe that the loss of service would be caused by the date changing from September 7th to September 8th. This is where Dream Marriage and I have a disagreement. Dream Marriage defines "Expiration on September 7th" to mean any time during September 7th is acceptable. A new customer, which I am, would define "Expiration on September 7th" to mean that September 7th would be the last full day of service. Dream Marriage does nothing to inform their customers, before their customers purchase a 30 day membership, that their membership may be deactivated before the completion of their last day.Generally speaking, when the information provided claims that a service will expire on a particular date, common sense dictates that it is the change of date which will cause the loss of service. In the same regard, when the information provided claims that a service will expire on a particular date and time, common sense dictates that it is the change of time on the final day, which will cause the loss of service.Dream Marriage provides only a date of expiration, but expects customers to understand that their service will be deactivated at a particular time on that date without disclosing this information in their "terms of service".Dream Marriage does not fully disclose their practice of deactivating memberships during their last day of service. This is how Dream Marriage is failing their customers. The information that Dream Marriage continues to provide AFTER they deactivated my membership during its last day needs to be provided and understood by all customers BEFORE the purchase of their 30 DAY membership. Providing this information is the responsibility of the service provider, not the consumer's responsibility to investigate. A consumer has the right to know their last day of service will not be a 24 hour day of service, before they purchase this service. The customer must agree to this practice. Dream Marriage did not disclose that their memberships renewed and cancelled at (or near) 8pm PST, until AFTER they had already deactivated my membership. This is the reason for our dispute. There would not have been 11 follow up letters remaining on my account, if I had known that my membership would be deactivated at 8pm PST.My resolution request does not seem to be understood. I am only asking Dream Marriage for an agreement to honor my balance of 11 "follow up" letters, which they discarded within a couple hours of their intended use. This can simply be done by adding them to my 30 "follow up" letters which will come with my next Platinum Membership purchase. I am even willing to receive 11 or 22 less "introduction" letters with my next Platinum Membership, if this will make a difference. Also requesting that Dream Marriage discloses that memberships are renewed and cancelled at 8pm Pacific Standard Time, during members last day of service in their "terms of service".Thanks again for my opportunity to explain my side of this dispute.Best Regards,[redacted]PS Dream Marriage would benefit from becoming more understanding and cooperative with their customers, instead of fighting with them. Have they ever heard the wise statement in business: "The customer is always right"? They do not seem to be in the business of serving customers as much as serving themselves. They are not even concerned about providing 29.75 days of service for an advertised 30 day membership. Most companies would be happy to provide 30.75 days of service for an advertised 30 day membership. Final Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)Dream Marriage cannot seem to understand that they have a responsibility to provide this information about what time memberships will be deactivated BEFORE selling the membership, NOT AFTER the cancellation occurs. Mine was deactivated with 11 letters remaining, which I had every reason to believe that they could be sent any time on September 7th.Dream Marriage did not say that my membership DID NOI expire at midnight.Every customer receives 31 days on those particular months. You are doing me no favors. You are only stealing my balance of follow up letters. You are giving me no reason to use your service any longer. I am only asking for something that I believe you took from me sooner than I believed you would. I am not saying that I was short changed on my time. There was not full disclosure regarding the time of cancellation. I had to guess how long that I had and there was only the date provided. It was my plan to begin another 30 DAY Platinum membership. Considering how Dream Marriage has behaved during this complaint process, they are not worthy of my continued business.Final Business Response Again the 30 day cycle is NOT from midnight to midnight. Furthermore [redacted] had a 31 day cycle NOT 30 days! His membership was cancelled per his own request on September 7,2015. Membership benefits remaining on balance do NOT roll over to the next billing cycle so even if [redacted] had NOT cancelled his Platinum membership the benefits remaining on balance at the time of renewal would have deleted. We have met our obligation to [redacted], as we cancelled his Platinum membership per his own request at the end of his billing cycle. We have nothing more to say about this issue. Further requests for comment will be met with the same answers, unless of course the inquiry changes.

I have been a member of Dream Marriage since December of 2015 as member ID# [redacted]I have spent my time on the website talking to[redacted] member ID# [redacted]I very quickly realized that Dream Marriage is way to expensive and that I needed to get off the website as soon as possible. Therefore I obtained [redacted] personal contact information in hopes of continuing to get to know her and yet allowing me to cancel my membership. However, it seemed that the phone service in [redacted] is unreliable and only works when she is at work. So I then used her personal email address to find her on [redacted] and then sent her a friend request. The request was ignored for several months and she said she didn't like communicating through emails causing me to have to continue to stay on Dream Marriage until a few days ago I decided to try to talk to a few of her friends on [redacted] to try and get [redacted] attention. I then received several messages from [redacted] through [redacted] Messenger where she stated that she does not talk on [redacted] and to go back to dream marriage, she also commented not to talk to her friends and then completely blocked me from her [redacted] page. I then sent a message to her on Dream Marriage and asked her if she was mad at me for talking to her friends and she had no clue what I was talking about! Therefore the person I have been speaking to on Dream Marriage can not be the same person as I found on [redacted] yet they have all the same pictures and I found her on [redacted] using the email address I was provided by Dream Marriage. It is very clear at this point that the person I have been talking to on Dream Marriage is not the real [redacted] but merely an interprature hired to keep me on Dream Marriage as long as possible to make the company money while the person I talked to on [redacted] is a hired model to lure me into the site. Desired SettlementI have documented that I have spent a total of $4,693 on Dream Marriage since December 2015 and I demand a full refund of all my money since it is very clear that the person I have been talking to on Dream Marriage is nothing more than a scam artist.$3,986.00 that I spent was from my [redacted] account and $607.00 that I spent came from my debit card and I demand that these amounts are refunded in full to the appropriate accountsBusiness Response Dream-Marriage is an online dating site. We provide a safe forum for our members to correspond and hopefully develop a long term relationship. We do not guarantee this will be the end result and neither does any other online dating site. We cannot force any member to correspond outside of Dream-Marriage. We have reviewed [redacted] account and contacted [redacted] on his behalf. We provided [redacted] with all of [redacted] personal and social media contacts. [redacted] responded thusly "told us that she's using [redacted] and ** mainly for business purposes and that she's rather communicate with [redacted]n over the phone and personal email. We again provided [redacted]n with [redacted]'s phone number, her email address. We advised that [redacted]n contact her via email and arrange a time that would be good for a phone conversation."Dream-Marriage has intervened way above and beyond the call of what we usually do on [redacted] behalf. We are not relationship counselors. We cannot force any member to correspond off of Dream-Marriage. Most Lady members of Dream-Marriage do not have the financial resources to support a personal internet option. This is why Lady members use local agencies in Russia and the Ukraine to connect to Dream-Marriage.Dream-Marriage does not refund for failed relationships and this is what is occurring here as the 2 parties involved cannot come to a compromise on how to continue heir relationship outside of Dream-Marriage and this is not our fault or responsibility. Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)I do not accept Dream Marriage's response because it is clear that this is a case of fraud! After finally contacting the girl I liked on [redacted] only to be blocked from her [redacted] and then talking to her about it on Dream Marriage, only to find out she had no clue what I was talking about! It is extremely clear that the person on [redacted] and the person on Dream Marriage are 2 completely different people. Also after reading into other people's experiences with Dream Marriage I know for a fact that Dream Marriage pays people to pose as others and to talk to the men on the website. Nothing but a scam from beginning to end!Final Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)I DO NOT accept this! Bottom line Dream Marriage is nothing but a scam and every piece of evidence I have provided they have responded with a lawyers response of answering a question without actually answering the question. Which realistically is an admittance of guilt and yet I have not received a refund of all of my money! Dream Marriage is nothing but a bunch of thieves.Final Business Response We have answered every question and inquiry that you have ever submitted to us. I have copied for you below every inquiry pertaining to [redacted]There are others but your main issue has to do with [redacted].
