Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]I went to the professional hair store with my sister in law may 21st 2016 to buy dye and get advice on how to fix my hair. The stylist told me to buy purple hair shampoo that is used as a toner and also olaplex for damaged hair. This is the picture before I started the olaplex treatment and used the purple shampoo Clearly my hair is fried, dried and damaged! Sarah had me buy their own products which I was using every since I had my hair done April 16th 2016. Clearly they were not working.
Regards,

This client originally came into Dream salon and spa on Saturday April 16th. She received a haircut with the stylist. She began asking stylist about doing color on her. She showed a total of 5 pictures of different hair colors she liked, all of which were very different styles(ombré, highlights,...

highlights and llowlights, etc). She was consulted with during the haircut as well as after as to what she wanted. The stylist also went over the process of achieving what she wanted, the time it could take and the amount of money it could cost. She ended up rescheduling to come back for the hair color. She agreed and understood this could take 3 or more appointments to achieve. She had re growth as well as 2/3 of her hair(miss to ends) being colored(dark level 3) with several previous color processes under that dark color( all done with NON PROFESSIONAL color). I explained hat everyone's hair is different and took differently to color and sine she had several layers of color, that were unknown we would do in stages to protect her hairs integrity. I went over and pointe out all things we see all over online about even celebrities spending a lot of money and time to go light( I used [redacted] as an example). I also explained this first appointment could cost $140-175 with needing to lightens her hair twice that appointment and tone. Doing over several appointments would keep the integrity of her hair and getting her hair to the lightness she desired more processes would be required which would cost. she understood and agreed. This first appointment for her hair color was on Saturday April 23. Before beginning I had her show me again the pictures she had shown me from the first appointment. Before beginning I went over the pricing as well as the process this would take. The pictures she had shown me were the same pictures, blonde ombré with some blonde around the face. I specifically asked if she wanted blonde around her face like the picture,if she wanted to be as light as the picture. I used lightener and olaplex to lighten. I lifted her hair twice that day as well as toned her hair to remove brassiness. She understood that after one apt her hair would not be where she wanted. I informed her she should give her hair a break, to use the products she purchased as well as gave her free product to help her hair get ready for her next color apt. Her second apt was on Saturday april 30. Again, before beginning talked about the end result. She said she wanted to have more blonde and be lighter. She was asked if she meant she wanted the blonde to go higher up and she said yes and the stylist and client we're on the same page as to how light the end result blonde was. She was asked if she liked some blonde higher up around her face and she said she loved it. Price was talked about again and the fact that the stylist was only willing to push her hair so far in order to keep the integrity of her hair healthy! Again lightener , olaplex was used to listen and toned again. We did not charge her  extra for the olaplex as we wanted to keep conscious ofher budget. Her hair at this point was a level 9-10 with some gold. As we were finishing she said " I love it. It is so blonde!" She never once said she didn't like It and never said there was too much blonde. She said as stylist was cashing her out, " I wouldn't mind being lighter and have more blonde."she and stylist agreed to wait 2 weeks to give her hair a break. Her third apt was on Saturday may 14. Again before starting stylist consulted with her. She said her sister suggested putting brown threw it and taking some of the blonde out of the top. She seemed hesitant and unsure. The stylist asked her several times and she was so unsure stylist suggested not to unless she was 100% sure and explained because it was a lot easier on her hair to put in then to take out( would have to relighten to remove if she didn't like it) she was also concerned with the upkeep of it so they agreed to keep the blonde until she was sure she wanted brown. The client was here for this appointment because she wanted more blonde, less gold and lighter. The stylist asked and had an assistant sitting in on this consultation where she was asked specifically do you want the blonde higher up and lighter. She said that was what she wanted. As he toner was on her hair after lightening she stated she had to hurry because she had somewhere to be, she had been at the salon for an hour and a half at this point( every previous appointment took two to two and a half hours).after washing the toner out of her hair and beginning to blow dry she said she loved it and it was so blonde and hoped her boyfriend liked it. Stylist did point out as blow drying the toner lifted a section of her hair hat left it a little spotty and offered to fix it, but she was in a hurry so an appointment was scheduled to correct that. Also as she was cashing out she stated , "I wouldn't mind being more blonde." For the sake of her being in a hurry the stylist didn't question this and figured they would discuss at her next appointment that was scheduled for color and a hair cut on June 4. Just to clarify the reason the client was charged for each service was due to the amount of previous color, darkness of her mid section to ends, time it would take, number of appointments it would take to acheive the lightness she wanted and to keep the integrity of her hair. 1. She was made aware of price, time and process. 2. Everyone's hair lifts and takes differently to color, especially with previous non professional color processes on the hair. Pin order to keep her hair as healthy as possible it would take several processes over these 3  or more appointments that she was fully aware of before ever beginning. None of these appointments were a fix as her hair was never messed up, she was fully aware of the several processes and appointments to remove he layers of previous hair color and to acheive the blonde she wanted. On may 19' Stylist received a message via Facebook from the client. This was he first time she was informed she was unhappy with her hair. She said " I love you, you're so nor and I love hat you have done my hair." She went on the explain that she had a family friend who could do her hair for cheaper, to "fix it" and "add brown" for cheaper than stylist could. Please keep in mind this is the brown she was so unsure of adding to her hair on the appointment that stylist offiered and was ore than willing to put in if that is what the client wanted!!!!  So keep in mind this isn't a "fix" she just found someone cheaper and wanted her money back. Stylist responded to her with an apology and offered her to come back in so we can talk and discuss the situation. Stylist explain she would fix the spotty part that was even pointed out by stylist on the last appointment but client did not have the time to stay to fix it as she was going to a party. Stylist also explained that adding brown to her hair is not a fix because every appointment she kept asking for more blonde and to be lighter. The stylist consulted and even offered go out brown in but the client decided not to at that appointment because she was unsure if she wanted it. The client changed her mind and now wants brown in it so she is asking for her money back. Six and a half hours were spent over the course of three appointments. She was aware of what she was asking for as stylist consulted with her and questioned at every appointment before starting. At the end of the conversation and stylist explaining this, the stylist offered to help her out because she wanted her to be happy with her hair. She offered to give Hera free haircut and to only charge her $45, originally $75. She responded with, " yes please! I feel so awful about all of this because I love you and you're so great."  " that sounds great I reallyappreciate it !" The next morning the salon recieved a call from her boyfriends sister. We explained to her the situation. She did not agreed and I had asked her to have the client call myself, the other manager or the salon owner. We have never recieved any phone calls from her. I also explained to the client because it was made aware to me that she didn't want mr to do her hair again hat I could have another stylist take care of her,NEVER ONCE did I state she would have to pay full price !!!! She was told another stylist would fix the spottiness for free and is she wanted brown this is something different than she had been asking for previously and we would give her a break in the price , but this is not s fix, so we would only charge het $45.  The next things that happened and are still to this day happening are to the point where is they continue the stylist and the salon will be taking legal action. The client posted a very long comment on our business Facebook and used the stylists exact name. Took a picture of her hair (  in a dark room, blurry picture and put the flash on), the picture looked nothing ike her hair did when she left the salon. She also pulled her hair back to show the spot that the stylist specifically offered to take care of on May 14  appointment. Also posted a picture of what she said she wanted and asked for his is not what she asked for. She went on to lie about why she had been charged and lied that I chathed her $200 to fix her hair, when she never came in for a fix. Also lied that she was never told this would take several processes. She then went on I. The comments to ask her friends to share the post to ruin the stylists reputation. She has had several of her friemds post on our Facebook on her behalf as well as others stating I did their hair, (which is a lie) and that I ruined it and their friends hair also. I have never done their hair. This is decimation of character and she is intentionally slandering my name . this is not a review it is lies and she is having her friends post comments on other clients review about this stylist about how terrible she is. She has responded to our request to stop with " I will stop slandering your name when I receive refund" The client is in our opinion changed her mind on what shewanted, found someone less expensive todo what she now wants, demanding a refund and since she is not getting one committing libel and defamation of character as a means to try to get what she wants. Stylist left it at asking her to call and speak with the owner as we cannot refund her. The owner has never received a call. We will not be issuing a refund.
