The company called the consumer and attempted to re-scheduleThe company states the consumer declined.The company did receive a call from a third party inuring about why the job was not completedThe company told the third party the driver was ill and his telephone was not working properly, the company states the third party hung up on them.The company states that charges for moving services are paid by the consumer only after a job is completed and no deposit or funds had been collected from the consumer.? The company apologized but states they will not reimburse the consumer for monies paid to the other movers/rental truck company due to the fact that no money had been collected

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.This is in response to the reply from the Dream TeamI did receive a call from them to reschedule at 9:00pmI told T that no I could not reschedule because I had to be out of my apartment that day and I had a truck load of furniture and would really appreciate if someone could come now since I had a truck full of furniture and one of the men that I had helping me had to leave and I am not suppose to be lifting things because of the surgery I had on my spineHe said he was on cedar rd and he could be there in minutes and he would charge me dollarsHe once again never showed up! I could not believe it not only did they not show up when they were suppose to , but called me and said they would come and never showed up again! I repeatedly called himNow at this time he had my number and address so there was no excuse not to call me back or come to help like he said he was going toWhen T called me at 9pm that night he told me that his co-workers phone screen was cracked and he was not able to get to my informationHe never stated that anyone was sickIf you have a business to run and all your clients information is in it to run your business why would you not get it fixed immediately? I had to be out of my apartment that day and hired a business to move me, but since they did not show up I had to rent a u haul and hope and pray someone would help meI had to pay the people and pay for a truckSeveral pieces of furniture I have has damage due to the fact the people that helped me are not professional movers I feel that since I did not pay in advance that they think this makes it ok that they did not show upWhat type of standards do they have for their company? I feel as a company that cares about their customers and have pride in their business should pay for their mistakes, I feel they should pay for the truck I had to rent and the people I had to pay and the furniture that was damagedIf this is not resolved I will take them to courtNo one should have to go through what I went through and the company thinks this is ok!
