The customer has not given factual information as to the events that took place and discussions that were had between themselves and *** offered to trade them out of their trailer which had been having service issues OR make a few payments for them on their existing trailer as a
goodwill gesture since they were not able to use it for a few months while it was in our service departmentWe are a small family owned and operated businessRight now we are dealing with a technician shortage in our shopThe customer signed all the paperwork to buy the new trailer the same day they took it homeIf they were not satisfied with everything that was going on with the purchase of the new trailer, they never mentioned itThey also signed the title document after being told the one year extended warranty was not transferableThe one year extended warranty is offered and paid to Forest River, The non-transferrable policy is their policy (attached)It states that on the bottom of the documentOne of our staff members did break their tv while trying to be of help to move their belongings from the old trailer to the new oneWe purchased the same model as was listed on the back of the TVThe new TV was purchased at Best BuyI have attached photos showing where the damage to the old tv occurredThe coax port was broken offThe staff member was deeply apologetic and we made no issue with making sure we got them a new tvAgain, the customer did not mention any problem with the new tv on the day they took the trailer and new tv homeTell us why here

I am rejecting this response because:Again Mr. G[redacted] is not giving the facts as they really happened. After our new trailer that was left on their lot for over 4 months had been flooded twice, We were told by [redacted] that he would give us two options. One, to have him buy back our defective trailer at  $4,000 less then our payoff, but he was willing to give us $800 for the payments made while the trailer was on their lot, however we also we would lose our down payment from our trade-in of $5,300.  That was of course a ridiculous deal for us. He then offered for us to pick out a new trailer and wrote on a paper that we would have no money out of pocket to purchase. He then went on to tell both of us that after we found a new trailer, we could even ask him to make two payments and ask him for the $800 in negotiations. After finding a new trailer, When we went in to sign paperwork on Feb 10th, we asked about the warranty, the $800 and the 2 payments and [redacted] said that he was not willing to negotiate anymore. We picked up the trailer eleven days later on the 21st of Feb, not on the same day that we signed paperwork as they stated. We were told that [redacted] was unwilling to pay us for the broken TV, therefore we were  willing to accept them buying the same tv to replace ours. However, our TV was a Magnavox purchased for $249 at Fred Meyer and they replaced it with a Vizio for $149 purchased from Best Buy. His version of the story is not what happened. We were shut down every time we asked about anything, including the warranty, the payments, and the money he said he'd pay. He IS NOT a man of his word and continues to lie about what actually happened. Also, we contacted Forest River about the warranty and they were unaware that there was a warranty issue. I was told that with the unit being flooded, they should have been notified. [redacted] has our old defective unit currently for sale on his lot.
