This was a simple case where a parent is complaining and canceling their credit card because his/her son or daughter used it for an online purchaseAs a business we can only do so much to prevent unauthorized transactions, but our policy is something that is fair and consistent through many of our competitors as wellWe were notified after the order was on its way, and due to our no return policy we weren't able to refund the moneyIt might make us look bad in a sense but everyone should understand that in most instances you can blame it on the business, but when you have your cards in reach of anyone you don't want using it then that is on the card holderAs much as we want to give a refund we cannot because the package was opened and our policy is consistentThank you

My son did not make the purchase - I made the purchase on behalf of my son! When the order appeard to not 'go thru' - we placed the order again. So, two orders were NOT supposed to be placed - I returned the package (unopened by the way) back to sender the day after we received it. After thinking about the purchase - I thought that was way too much money to pay for cheap clothing and we cannot afford to be spending money like that - so I canceled the order (within hours) - we are on the east coast, your 'company' is on the west coast - which, I believe, means there is a three hour difference, correct? That would have given the company ample time to cancel the order and not process it! This is completely ridiculous - any decent company would have canceled the orders and been done with it. however, I receive multiple e-mails, that I considered almost threatening. unfortunately, that seems to be the way you choose to do business

Hello this is *** owner of Dreaming EleganceActually I read emails and saw paypal notifications about this particular issue ***Sad that you had to go behind out backs to a 3rd party website when we did nothing but go against our policy to help you outIn which btw we have to go through a
couple privacy and security issues to refund someone that's why we were asking for your invoice and full name, so we can verify a few things as the first time you mentioned the full name on the order it didn't matchAnyways your 75% refund was already processed a few weeks ago and it was handled exactly the way we said it wouldThank you for your time ***

but our policy is something that is fair and consistent through many of our competitors as well. We were notified after the order was on its way, and due to our no return policy we weren't able to refund the money. Review: This company made an unauthorized charge to my Visa credit card in the amount of $99.99 on 3/1/14. I did not buy any merchandise from the company and did NOT authorize this charge. I emailed the company and the person who replied was horribly rude and accused someone else of using my credit card. They state they cannot refund my money. I have had to cancel my credit card and file a fraud complaint with my credit union.Desired Settlement: Refund to my credit card in the amount of $99.99 for unauthorized, fraudulent charges

Review: My 19 year old son was contacted by this company to be a "representative" and to help promote business. The charge was $99 - I entered my credit card information; however it didn't appear to go thru, so I entered it again. The company is on the west coast - I placed the order at 10:00 pm, Monday night. After investigating and talking to my son about this "company" - it sounded more and more like a scam. when I arrived at work the next day at 730 am - I notified the company to cancel both orders - I was told they would not allow that. The person who answered my e-mail was not only rude - but came across quite threatening. After going back and forth between e-mails, [redacted] stated that they would cancel the 2nd order only if I agreed to not dispute the first order wtih my credit card company. Asked me to respond and I never did. I immediately called my bank and told them of the situation. They informed me that they would dispute the 2nd charge but couldn't dispute the first b/c of the company's return policy - my son received two packages 3 days later (they obviously processed both orders) - there were 2 t-shirts in each package with the Dreaming Elegance logo on them - that's it. That's what I was charged $99.00 for?!?!? I am outraged and feel totally taken advantage of. They are false advertising and have unethical collection practices. The person responding to my e-mails was a bully! I wrote "return to sender - order canceled" on one of the packages and have the t-shirts (from the package he opened) in a box in my closet - as I knew I would not only be out $99.00 but would have nothing to show for it if I "returned to sender". I would never have my son wear those shirts to promote a company like that - if they dont' return my $ - I will wear them myself and tell everyone what a crooked company it is!Desired Settlement: I want a refund on my credit card for both purchases of $99.00! if the bank sucessfully disputes the 2nd charge - that is fine - but I want the other $99.00 refunded. I will dig the t-shirts and send them back to them, if needed.

Thank you!

Owner of Dreaming Elegance here, it's funny that this complaint actually went through from a parent. I specifically remember these 2 transactions as well. This is what happened:

The son ordered 2 rep packages from our site, they are not duplicated by any matter. The customer ordered twice in two different instances, these orders were minutes apart. Customer then went ahead and emailed us to cancel following day when everything was already packed and on its way. Our return policy is strict, dealing with clothing we have to have a strict return policy to keep everyone on the same page. This return policy states that when something is ordered from our site it is considered YOUR item, and we do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds of any sort. This policy once again helps keep a guideline for all our customers and reps to follow. The customer who was the son bought a rep package from our site which also included SHIPPING & HOSTING FEE. The hosting fee is a one time payment to host the reps account on our website, have the ability to earn rep points, and get free apparel. A customer can join without paying that but just wont be able to earn points and free apparel. Its simple the mothers son bought two rep packages from us wanting to get more apparel to rep with, and made two accounts. We sent them out and got a complaint later on. This is not right.

Review: On the evening of 8-5 to 8-6 someone from Dreaming Elegance contacted my 15 year old son through his instagram account asking him to be a "representative" of Dreaming Elegance. They texted him how to enter my credit card number through a paypal account. They walked him through step by step to make the purchase untraceable. They charged him 99.99 for a garment of clothing of theirs to promote their clothing and then they would pay him for every person who buys the clothes they sell. I immediately contacted them on 8-6 and they also sent my son a text saying that they could refund me 75% of the 99.99 but would need me to email them to approve this as he is only 15 years old. They said that they could only refund 75% because the order had already been processed and it would cover their costs. Then they sent a response on 8-8-2014 saying that they needed an invoice number, full name under order and date of order. I responded that I did not have because the product was never received. Then on 8-15 they said there was no record of myself or my son getting charged? They used paypal and the pre-auth on my account was on 8-6. This is the exact email quote from [redacted] on the 20th "I do remember us talking and you getting $75. Although I checked and on 8/6 there is no record of [redacted] or [redacted] getting charged" The text he sent my son says " I was able to talk to my team and fight for your side because I like to put myself in every reps situations. I got them to refund 75% of the transaction as whenver orders are through their immediately packaged and shipped to warehouse. The 25% covers all that. Let me know and I can start now. I need an email back confirming that [redacted] is okay with that." As of this morning, August 26th, 2014, I still have not received my article of clothing or refund.Desired Settlement: At this point since no product was mailed either I would like a full refund of the 99.99 by check mailed to me:
