Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: I never received the $refund agreed upon as you stated for choosing an outdoor space instead of an indoor space. Also I did not slander your businessI informed people to be wary of locations they choose because of this incidentThen one of your friends chose to attack me through Facebook which led me to blocking her and youYou were yelling but if you choose not to think so then that is fineAnother vendor who left at the same time as me agreed you were yelling and also left due to no customersI did not "demand" anythingI politely said that I would appreciate a refund. If that will have no follow through, then I do appreciate the $refund as stated in your own letter.
Sincerely,

To whom it may concern, My name is Torri B[redacted]. I am the Founder & co-owner of Dreams & Things Unique Boutique.  I received a piece of mail concerning myself & my business with the ID #[redacted]. This is my version of the event that took place and I have also included some...

screenshots of the complaining party slandering my business name out on social media, which I don’t appreciate it. When she was confronted she began blocking people included myself, yet still continued to slander my business. Back in July, we decided to host a craft fair in our new location of business and open it up to other small business vendors to rent a space out from us to help with their networking. Inside spaces for Fri & Sat was $75.00 due to it being in A/C and also in amongst our full time vendors. If they only wanted to book 1 day it was $30. Outside booth spaces were only $50 because they would have to be out in the heat and provide shade for themselves. I also charged an extra $10 to use the power (inside & out) as well as $10 to use our secure Wi-Fi which were both optional.  On or around July 16, 2017, I received a comment on one of my Facebook posts about this event from the complaining customer, wanting more information. I told her the above details in a personal Facebook message and she stated she wanted an inside booth for $75 plus needed the use of power for $10 extra. I then invoiced her for an inside booth with power for $85, to which she paid online. The day of the craft fair, she arrived at my location and when I showed her where to set up, she asked if she could be outside instead with a $20 refund because she needed more room than what my inside booths offered. I agreed that she could do that and then at the end of the day, she could just bring her stuff inside and it would be locked up for the night and when she returned the next day she could set back up. She said ok and went out and sat up. About an hour later, I was walking around the store to check on how my vendors were doing and there was a woman standing at her booth looking like she was making a purchase so I didn’t approach her at that time. A ½ hour later and after the customer had left, I went out to speak with the complaining customer about the wind picking up and blowing her stuff around. I explained I have a larger back room she could set up in if she wanted to and she agreed. My husband then helped her move all of her stuff inside. Once inside, I did a live feed on my Facebook business page to remind customers to come in and to let them know what companies were here. A couple hours passed and no more customers had come in. I explained to everyone that it was Friday & people were still trying to get off work and to the bank and that I’m sure they would start coming in that afternoon and to just keep advertising on their social media sites.  Within a half hour of me announcing that, the complaining customer started packing up her things. One of my full-time vendors noticed and asked her if she was leaving and she said “yes”. I heard this and went to ask “what was the problem?” She replied, “I signed up to make money, not just sit here.” I explained again, “I understand you want to make money, we all do. Fridays are always slower because people are working and they usually come in later in the afternoon.“ She then demanded her money back and told me she wasn’t returning for Saturday” in a snotty manner.  I explained that “I wasn’t giving her, her money back because of the short notice of her leaving and for giving me such an attitude when I didn’t do anything wrong. “ She then demanded her money back once again, told me she was turning me into the Revdex.com and she wanted to see a contract. I told her we didn’t do contracts, only a verbal agreement that she was doing Fri & Sat with the amount of money she paid but I made a copy of the invoice & our messages. She said it didn’t prove anything. I returned to my office and also apologized to all of my other vendors who were witness to the entire thing. She finished packing up and left. About an hour after she left we had customers come in, and purchase from the different vendors we had here. They even asked where Pink Zebra was and I told them she packed up and left. Saturday, we had a bunch of customers in the store for the craft fair. The complaining customer stated in her complaint that I was “yelling at her” which is not true. I even asked my other vendors if I yelled thinking maybe I did and just didn’t realize and they even said I didn’t. Also, she stated I didn’t advertise the event but I did advertise. I advertised on Facebook (paid ads), Twitter, Linkedin, Instagram, craigslist, Downtown Idaho Falls newsletter (since that is where we were before this location), and the Chamber of Commerce newsletter. We also had an ad in the newspaper for our grand opening and the craft fair as well as advertisement in the store. The week before this event we had a Ribbon Cutting ceremony with the Chamber of Commerce where it was announced again.  We have 7 full-time vendors in our store that also advertised for the event. I’m not sure who she was referring to about other people I refused to give a refund to because I had no other problems with the event vendors and nobody else ever approached me about a refund. Everyone that stayed got sales from this event.I don’t feel I should have to give her money back to her when I clearly used it to advertise just because she decided to give up after 4 hours. It was too short of a notice to even get the next Pink Zebra consultant that wanted the space in there to fill her spot. Sincerely,Torri B[redacted]- Co-Owner & Operator of Dreams & Things Unique Boutqiue
