left unfinished but was paid on-going: I contracted for Hurricane Doors & patio doors with Seann Conolly. He presented licensing and insurance reference as a contractor. Seann was haphazard in his work& failed to complete the paid job. No longer employed by Jeromie, but Jeromie still lent his license so that Seann could present himself as a legitimate contractor, which he was not. I spoke with Jeromie. He said, he always "does the right thing". Jeromie reviewed Seann's work , the incomplete portions at 2 locations 1) 6 patio doors, a front door, and a side door at one location and 2) a double front door at a second location It took some time, but Jeromie did come out to the first location and correct the incorrect and unsecured work by Seann. I paid an additional $1,900.00 to the approximate $25,000 already paid Seann. The workers also took with them a completely sealed metal slat package, which was paid for by me to Seann. The value of that was $300 to $1100. I received no credit from that for the work done by Jeromie. Living on a survivor's benefit, I couldn't pay Jeromie in one lump sum paid him approx $500/month until the $1900.00 charge was paid off. After it was paid, I reached out to Jeromie to complete the job at the second location. I also notified him that the patio doors at the first location needed to be checked since lizards as well as rainwater was coming into the patio. The patio doors should make a secure seal, if installed correctly, so apparently, these doors needed some adjustment. At one point Jeromie said "I'm in business to make money." I have no problem with that. However, when I have paid Jeromie $1900.00 so far, I don't see this as a charity case. Despite Jeromie claiming he always "does the right thing", Calling him repeatedly I hear "I'm on vacation, ", "I'm too busy this week", "I'll call you back", but mostly just totally ignoring me I would think it would be a relief to put this small job behind him, and in fact, Do the Right Thing.
