Appointment was made for supervisor Alex to come out and check the job. Alex needed to cancel once due to sickness. Separate crew was sent out to check the job and found finished job and no problems. Review: I attempted to hire this company for roof work. We had an agreed upon price and then didn't schedule a time to come and do the work. They called me attempting to bill me for work they had never done. Alex - the primary contacted scheduled many appointments to come to my home to see the work to be done and not done. He cancelled many times stating illness. With water coming in my home I hired a different company who completed the work and were paid in full for their services. I forgot about them and I never heard from Alex again. While internet shopping for new siding I was contacted by Dreamworks for a siding estimate. Then I received a cancellation of estimate. I called to inquire at which point they stated I had not paid them for a job they never showed up for. Again I was speaking to Alex. He claims to have done the work and I reminded him of all of his cancellations along with the fact and proof I had hired another company who was paid in full. He then told me he was reporting on my credit because I was refusing to pay his company for work not done. Dreamworks at no time did work on my property nor did they show up when attempts to schedule work be done. Threatening my credit for an estimate of work not completed is fraud and blackmail.Desired Settlement: This company needs to cease and desist their threats of damaging my credit based on work they never showed up to do. I agreed to hire them but they never did the work. My roof was leaking. They lost the job because they never showed up. I should not be billed for work never done or scheduled by Dreamworks.
