I am rejecting this response because:I will not accept this business replyI am attaching proof that our carpet is only years oldBy sending you the information of when our carpet was in stalled how much is cost to install including the date it was installedI am sending you photos of the burned carpetThe burn is 19" long by 9" wide for perspective of actual size of his errorI take very good care of our things that we try very hard to have including our carpet.It is in our primary walk way we see it every day even through the clear runnerThe runner is beside the pointBecause our plan was after hard wood floors were done to not have the runner after everything was to looked beautifulWell that didn't happen! The png images are screen shots of the corresponding messagesHe did come over and say it was completely is fault and would do what every it takes to fix his errorHe also stated he doesn't run from problems he has caused and that he would fix itHe voided our warranty when he burned our carpetNow I want to add pain and suffering chargesI had to spend my money to get a amber sealer to finish the areas he didn't come back to do including my time was $50.00. Also splicing this carpet I would have to hire a professional to come do will add up fast to make look invisible but is not guaranteed to last like my original carpeting before Dean voided our year warranty He has not been honest and tried to cover up his errorHe is What he has done to us is terribleBy not doing what he said he would do anything to fix this I want the first half of my payment back of plus this is not unreasonableI guess I will get my lawyer and get prepared take him to court for the full carpet replacement cost, cost for the other flooring fixes along with pain and discus he has caused usIf he doesn't comply with my request Since he isn't willing to do the right thing and give me the first half backThe sad thing is its the poor people like us that don't get justice and these business get away with there errors I love my carpet and I didn't ask for him to mess his job up and ruin itHe was the professional of years experience with an A+ rating to not make this error in the first place. I will not pay for carpet that looks more than ten years old, for damage that is hidden under a plastic runnerI'm not so sure that the carpet can't be patched it's just not in good enough condition no matter if it's ( only years old lol ) I have a $deductible on my insurance so I'm not
going to give them all new floors for free
