Review: the dress did not arrive within the 14 weeks it said it would arriveDesired Settlement: I wanted the dress on time!

Business

Response:

[redacted] purchased her dress on November **, 2015. She chose a production time of 12 to 14 weeks (we also have other production times of as little as six weeks). The production time is the amount of time the manufacturer takes to make the dress in the factory. The production time was due to end between February * and February **, 2016. She also chose ground shipping, which is an additional five days until the dress is received (we also offer overnight and two day shipping). Once the dress was completed, imported and cleared customs, the manufacturer shipped it to us and we in turn shipped it to the consumer. [redacted]'s dress was shipped to her on February **, 2016 and is scheduled to be received by her on February **, 2016. We have all the documentation to support these dates.

I do not recommended anyone ordering from this site! I have ordered a wedding dress back in September of 2015 for my wedding in March 2016 and here it it February and have not received my dress. When I call to ask about it they give me the run around and are very rude and unprofessional. I feel like I have been ripped off. Please people do not order from this site it's just not worth it.

Review: Ordered my wedding dress online, received my order confirmation email. After a few days had passed and I still didn't receive another email saying my order was processed I logged into the site to see the status of my order had been cancelled. I emailed the site asking why my order had been cancelled as the charge is on my card. No response. Resent email next day. No response. Waited 2 more days and sent a 3rd email AND left a message. STILL no response. 11/** FINALLY get someone to answer the phone at their bricks and mortar store (the ONLY phone number listed for dress direct.net). Manager claimed she guesses she called someone else to let them know their order was cancelled because they listed the dress at the wrong price. Card was charged. Order was billed but they cancelled it. False advertisement. However, if I want to order the dress NOW it's only $600 more than the original price. Lure you in and charge you with one price but to get the item you have to pay more than advertised.Desired Settlement: I want the dress at the price listed on my order confirmation. It's the price that had been listed on the site. It's AWFUL that in order to receive the dress I need to pay over $600 more now.

Response:

[redacted] called our 800 number before she placed her order online and asked if the price of the dress was

correct. This is evidenced by her order #[redacted] dated November **, 2013 (attached) which agrees to our 800 number telephone record of her inbound call dated November 2013 at 4:15:05PM EST showing the conversation lasted 5 minutes 30 seconds (attached). The number on our telephone records agrees to the telephone number on her order.

We were unaware before her telephone call that there was typographical error in the listing. We told her that the price was wrong and we could not discount the dress per our agreement with the manufacturer (attached). We went into the software to correct the error, but not before [redacted] hurried to order the dress at the wrong price. We subsequently cancelled the order and her credit card was never charged. We did speak to her after we cancelled the order. She had threatened us to file complaints with the Revdex.com and credit companies if we did not sell her the dress at the erroneous price.

We were unable to do so.

As an authorized retailer of everything we sell, we abide by the manufacturers' pricing guidelines. We guarantee the products authenticity. We will continue to sell high quality items by maintaining these relationships with our vendors. We do not violate MSRP agreements and does not endorse any discounting outside the scope of these agreements.

[redacted] is clearly lying about her experience. She clearly called before placing the order, found out it was an error and attempted to exploit that error before it was corrected.

In addition to trashing our business on review site, Yelp, she has had problems with many other businesses.

[redacted] writes of [redacted]:

[redacted] deserves less than one star. What a disrespectful group of scammers

and cons. Directly from their website Ifound 5 PAGES of apartments all 1-2 bedrooms well with-in my price rang (I'd say at least 90% were $200-$300 UNDER). Texted someone names [redacted]. Response

was something like this: "Apartments go fast"

Me: "Yes, I know I'll be available to view tomorrow lOam"

[redacted]: "Text 1hr before"

Next morning, 8:30 AM AFTER A HOLIDAY WHICH NONE of the brokers Me"ls the apartment still avilable"

[redacted] 11 Gone 11

...Ahhh Ironic that apartment must have rented it's self over the holiday... SHUCKS I just HATE when that happens

:/

Me: "Do you have ANYTHING else in my price range? Or do you only have one apartment available to show me"

..... Still waiting for a response from [redacted]...

I was able to view ONE. Isaid ONE. Apartment. [redacted] couldn't even bother showing up. Instead he let me wait over 30 minutes before he FINALLY responded saying the super would show me. Apartment I saw was on 21st street and was infested with cockroaches.

Guess I dodged a bullet in passing on this ridiculous company ... If you're going to work with a broker/realty company-

I feel VERY confident in saying you'd be better off with ANYONE but Lang. The absolute WORST I've ever dealt with, even after moving 5x now between Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens. Of ALL the brokers- by far the worst. Overall the brokers appear to be complete [redacted] and will just waste your time.

[redacted] writes of Spring Dumpling House:

The 3 times I've been here the waitress have forgotten some part of my order. You'd think that if they can't remember they'd carry note pads. Each time I've also been given a clearly lame and lie of an excuse. IE Oh, Ididn't forget to put your order in (even though you just watched me type it into the computer) our refridgerator system

broke down and we have to make everything fresh, so they take 35 minutes longer than your meal took. Once, it was that the spicy pork pot stickers take ** minutes longer than all the others to cook ...

Please just admit that you suck at remembering and forgot some of the order.

With that said, they make the best Lotus Sliders I've ever had and the most amazing spicy pork pot stickers. Not sure if I can continue to go back though as the service is just not that great.

Also, to be noted, delivery/carry out orders are usually messed up as well. You might order the Roast chicken Udon and get vegetable noodle with beef...

[redacted] Writes of Blink Fancy:

Oh how I wish I could give less than one star. I've gotten extensions 3x now. I'm hooked.

HOWEVER, I would NEVER get extensions again even if Blink Fancy were the only and last place on the Earth doing them.

First off. Jewel did my lashes. I ordered the 90 per eye and even though that's what I PAID for she and I quote says "Oh Idon't count I just put 'em on". Fine. SO I may or may not get what I paid for. I sit though the process

and was poked in the eye SEVERAL times with her needle nose tweezers. To the point that there were tears rolling down my cheeks.

As the appointment finished, she glued my eyes shut and proceeded to gouge my eyeball AGAI N and AGAI N to unstick them- again in full tears at this point. She then had several lashes out of place and crooked so she just PLUCKED out my real lashes!! Never have I experienced so much pain at a beauty treatment before.

As I left the salon at LEAST 5 lashes had already fallen out. By the time Igot home (a 10 minute walk away) about another 9 had fallen out. This was by far the absolute worst experience EVER. Not to even mention- the "individual lashes" were glued sometimes 4-5 on a single eyelash of mine. They also started at very random spots on my lashes so they were VERY clearly fake and just looked awful. I'd rather have collected dirty NYC pigeon feathers and glued those to my lashes than ever return to this place. AVOID AT ALL COST!ll

Folks, don't believe all the so-called review you read online. Oftentimes when the review is a long diatribe, there is a store behind it.

Consumer

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is not satisfactory to me, yet, I choose to remove myself from this matter of business. Other unhappy yelp reviews speak for them selves of this company. I had contacted the Revdex.com under pretenses of false advertisement (the dress is still listed on sale, although attached previous documents clearly state they can not offer discounts as per the MSRP agreement) and the horrible (non existent) customer service I received.

Sincerely,
