I am rejecting this response because: I was the one who contacted the manufacturer of the balusters and got the information that they were replacing the balusters and the damaged cedar, not *** *** We asked *** *** for the receipts to send to the manufacturer so we could get replacement and he did not return phone calls or e-mails As I said in my earlier complaint *** *** has not been to our house to see the damaged deck ever, and has not returned our calls and was a no show/no call when we asked for a bid to replace the balusters and cedar My mistake was that I forwarded the manufacturer information to him because I thought he said he would make this right for us We have already spent more money on this deck to get someone to take down the defective balusters and cedar because of no response/no show from Dressel Construction So from the response from Dressel construction is he is using our receipts to get reimbursed for damage to our deck but he is pocketing the money and we are still left with a damaged deck I am contacting the manufacturer to advise them of Dressel Construction trying to get the money back that should go to us the consumer not the contractractor who does not intend to fix our deck Please advise what our next step isWe believed that Dressel Construction would make this right but it looks like he is going to get the money from the manufacturer and we are still left with a damaged deck Please advise what me the consumer needs to do now to get our deck fixed.

It is the balustersI am sorry for the delay in responding, I have had a medical issue

The project passed inspection.  I did tell the consumer I was not completely satisfied with the baliss and contacted the manufacturer, which the consumer chose, about the issue.  I am waiting on the manufacturer to issue me a refund.  I will be in contact with the consumer...
