I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below

*** *** Every place I look for the value of my car was ***+ I took into fact the condition of the vehicle toAs well as the carfax report your dealer posted when you put the vehicle for saleI do not believe out of fairness that the *** your dealer paid was fair as your employee stated due to the car being involved In a accident we can't pay you that much but we can pay you *** plus the *** you put into the car for aftermarket partsTotaling *** the reason behind my acceptance was your associate clearly stated due to the accident and that I could go to my insurance and file a depreciated value claim thru my insurance by the paper he stated my car was worth printed by *** *** with kbbwe can't offer but if my vehicle was fixed with oem parts to mana factors specs then why couldn't I of received that offer in the first place as your car fax posted that the car was a clean title, certified preowned, no accidents to report, mileage *** as shown by one of the pictures that was posted via the vehicles vin numberIf this is correct then I do believe that you are not in complianceI would like to have this matter addressed formally

year.We appraised *** *** vehicle, and made an offer for it, which he accepted. When we appraise a vehicle, we not only have to take into account the performancein the used vehicle market on similar vehicles, but also the vehicle itself, and anycharacteristics that may hurt or help it's value. As it turns out, our appraisal was not that far off in what the vehicle was worthItstayed on our lot for days (the average used vehicle sells in less than 30-days).We sold it at a price significantly less than what *** *** perceives we didForthe same reasons that we bought the vehicle at a lower price for him, we also sold itat a lower price. Not that it is really anybody's business but ours, but after our costs for reconditioningthe ***, we lost about $** selling it When this happens, it is arisk of being in business, and something we fully accept, and is certainly notanything I would go back to *** *** on to renegotiate. Please let me know if you have any additional questions or comments.Kind Regards,*** ***

Review: I sold a car to the dealership for [redacted] it was a [redacted] Due to the car being in a auto accident the employee

Stated we can't give you the value for you car due to the accident

And then stated that I needed to file a depreciated value claim with the insurance

To receive the other [redacted] my car was worth

I contacted the insurance and they stated that they payed to fully repair the vehicle to oem specs and that they shouldn't have I don't know used the price but according to policy was 10% of the total of the accident which would of come out to just shy off [redacted] dollars.

When I confronted the sales manager about it he told me that I signed the contract if I didn't like the offer then you should not have signed. I told him I understood but why did thy sell the car with a depreciated valued to me due to the accident by proceeded to sell the car back at retail cost and put the car as a no accidents on record but told me that it doesn't matter what we do with the car.

I do not believe a dealer should have the right to depreciate that value of my car over [redacted] dollars and then resell the same car for over [redacted] before taxes license and fees. I personally feel as if they committed fraud. After all said and done I was kicked out and told never to come back by the same manage I addressed the entire situation to. Flat out I was wrongfully sold on for my car and lied to about both paperwork and verbal agreements from the employee and the manager.Desired Settlement: The fair value for my cars worth according to what the employee said my cars value was.
