Review: [redacted] came to my home, talked with me about my expectations for a bathroom remodel, and followed up promptly with an estimate via email. I had some questions about some of the items in the estimate and again he responded promptly with the information. I had explained to [redacted] that I needed to know when the job would begin, that I would need him to work only on this job until its done, and I would need to know approximately how long the job would take as I need to make arrangements to take time off from work. I also needed to arrange to have the money available to pay him when the job started. He said that he understood my concerns and would be willing to work within those concerns. I was able to schedule time off during the weeks of July 8th and 15th. On two occasions he confirmed that those dates would work for him. There were several items that I was responsible to purchase prior to the start of the work such as the tile, grout, shower door, etc. Having no idea how much tile was needed or what kind of grout, or what type of shower door to purchase, I emailed [redacted] for advice. When I didnt receive a response after approximately a week, I called [redacted] on June 6th. He suggested that we meet at [redacted] regarding those items. When several weeks went by and I didnt hear from him to schedule a time to meet, I tried to reach him again. I left a number ofl voice messages and sent an email asking him to please call me about those items. He never responded to the messages or email. Finally, with only 5 days left until the work was to start, I emailed him to cancel the job. I still heard nothing from him. I called again on the day the work was to beginstill no response. [redacted] has refused to accept my calls and provides no explanation as to what happened with this job. I have wasted 6 weeks assuming that when he agreed to do the job he was honorable and would so it. I now find myself in a position of seeking new estimates and attempting to reschedule time off from work.Desired Settlement: A reputable business man would have contacted his customer with an explanation. I would like an explanation from [redacted] as to what happened.

the attached 4 emails give you the bulk of our written correspondence. Unfortunately I never received a written contract. I had assumed that I would receive it after all the final purchases were made. Again, he confirmed twice verbally that the work would begin 7/8.
