Mr [redacted] has a piece of property that has some non compliant wiring, that was installed without the proper permitsI agreed to pull a permit under my masters license (I.e.***) I called Mr[redacted] several times, [redacted] But he never called back During the last week in feb 2016, I got a call from the City of Rochester Electrical inspector ( [redacted] ) He said that another person was working under my permit Without our knowledgeBoth mr [redacted] and myself agreed that the permit MUSTbe invalidated! I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I would like to add to my rejection of the Driscoll Electric offer/explanation We met with [redacted] who is the electrical inspector for my organizations region The consultation listed several things that anyone could fix (removing extension cords, stapling wiring to secure locations, etc.) And many things that an electrician would have to do (wire repair, installation of new wire, installation of new junction boxes, etc I personally removed extension cords and waited until my wife gave birth to our second child to contact city inspectors and Mr Driscoll to get specifications on the materials needed and to schedule the start of work MrDriscoll was very specific with me that he wanted me there while he worked as he feared the "trash" people who frequent the neighborhood and thought he was threatened by a homeless man with a gun although no gun was ever seen by MrDriscoll during the encounter I told MrDriscoll that I would not be able to start work until the child was born as I needed to be near my wife and year old son should she go into labor and to handle doctors appointments I would have to be with her 24/ during her recovery should she need additional care He was fine with this and understood as he personally met my wife when he did electrical work on my home I contacted the inspector to get wire specifications so that I could order the supplies needed As a tax exempt non-profit we have to go through a specific ordering process to ensure we receive our goods tax free and any other discounts that may be possible We found out the permit was cancelled by MrDriscoll when speaking with a city inspector supervisor, and not from MrDriscoll nor did we receive any contact from MrDriscoll during this time The permit was cancelled 2-days after my child was born which appears to us that Mr Driscoll was taking the money and running off without completing the work or having an intention of completing the work [redacted]
