I am not satisfied with the response because now that I filed a complaint with Revdex.com the company is refusing to fix what they promised to fix to begin withI wouldnt have contacted Revdex.com if I thought I had another choice to get resultsI have called the company on numerous occasions and nobody knows anything about my issue with the sensor even though I have left several messages to get the issue resolvedThe company ordered the part and it came in wrongWhether the part was ordered wrong or it got sent wrong I dont knowI spoke with the owner on a Friday and she stated that she just got back from vacation that she would take care of reordering the sensor and she would call me the next MondayWhen I didnt hear back, I started calling and leaving messages and coming by the dealershipI feel I have done everything to try to resolve this without contacting the Revdex.com, but when my calls get forgotten by the receptionist and nobody in the company except the owner knows what is going on I feel like I am being ignored and blown off.
All I want is what was promised, the EGR sensor replaced and the oil change with matsIf this is taken care of I will be satisfiedAs the owner mentioned, I have bought a vehicle from this dealer in the past and was completely satisfiedI was shocked when this happened this time

I am the owner of Drive Away Motors and I am going to try and address each issue as they are addressed in the complaint.  First, we do not accept EBT for down payment, we have no way to do this.  We have only a credit card machine.  We accept Credit, Debit, Cash, Checks and Cashier's...

checks.  Miss [redacted] purchased her vehicle in May of last year.  She did have a problem with the engine right after purchasing the vehicle.  We did the necessary repairs and she was happy.  We did not charge her extended warranty as it would been dishonest because it happened within 30 days of her getting her vehicle.  We try to stay straight with our warranty companies.  She did have a [redacted] warranty which meant she covered half for 30 days and we covered half for the first 30 days.  However, since she had just bought it we did the repairs for goodwill for her for only $[redacted].  A month or two later, she was having an issue with her steering.  I'm not sure what we did to it without speaking with the mechanics. She drove in the car with the mechanics and myself.  She said it was fine. She called back a couple weeks later said she was having a problem, I told her to bring it in for us to look at and we didn't see her again.  She called in a couple months ago, said she was having a problem, I told her she had an extended warranty she could take it anywhere to have it fixed.  There is only a $[redacted] deductible.  She then told me that she wished my entire family would die!  I asked her never to step foot into my dealership and have a nice life.  She called me again last week or the week before (not positive which) and told me she was having problems with her car.  I told her she has an extended warranty, she can take it anywhere but she is not welcome at my lot.  She then confirmed she wished my family would die and I asked her to have a nice life. I will not allow her or her vehicle on the premises of my car lot.  She has an extended warranty which comes with ** months or [redacted] miles and she can call them to use that wherever she would like to get it fixed according to the warranty. Tere P[redacted] Drive Away Motors

I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  - I did purchase the vehicle on September 7th correct and I did sign a paper regarding the mileage however I wasn't aware I have a copy as well with my signature and Terry's (Owner of Drive Away motors) signature as well however the boxes for stating you were made aware of the mileage were not checked. I did also have to pay the Acura up to date which I did and then paid an additional $180.00 for my down payment for the [redacted]and I had a friend with me the day of the purchase who witnessed all of it. Regardless of mileage NO vehicle that passed a state inspection a month before being purchased and driven for only 3 days which I have proof of as well should have had break issues and multiple other safety issues as the Nissan had. I am not at fault for a vehicle I did nothing wrong to. I barely got to drive it as it put my life in danger on multiple occasions. Best Regards,

[redacted] did purchase a vehicle from us, we did what we were suppose to do which is have the vehicle safety inspected.  The inspection is from an outside inspector, not us.  She purchased the vehicle with 115,687 on Sept. 7th.  Since that time, she put 672 miles on the...

vehicle.  She returned the vehicle on Sept. 13th to the shop.  I offered to help her with any repairs at a discounted rate.  We only charge our customers $45 an hour for labor and parts at cost.  She said, she no longer wanted the vehicle and wanted to return it.  By state law, I do not have to let her out of the contract but since she was unhappy I offered to do this for her.  She wanted her monies back for her down payment, however, her down payment was the monies she owed from her previous loan that she was past due on in order to trade it in with us, she had to bring it current.  I am not angry or upset, but I did receive and still have a text from her the day she drove it away stating, "I love it!" .  If it runs well when she leaves her, it is hard for me to predict that 6 days later, it will have an issue.  The other thing is that she put 672 miles on it driving in town doing delivery and it was the brakes that were the problem, probably from the stop and go of delivery driving.  I have a copy of the state inspection and the mileage at the time of return and the odometer statement when she purchased it.  I hope everyone has a nice day!  God Bless!

To whom it may concern,
I have received the complaint from [redacted] on her [redacted].  I would like to address all of the issues one by one for your purpose and outline the situation.  Let's start with the first issue, which was the vehicle was...

purchased with the check engine light on.  This is correct and at the time of the purchase I told her I wouldn't repair it since it didn't impact its drivability or reliability.  She and her husband were in the meeting when this was discussed and they said it was no problem.  The contract went to the bank and they told us they wanted the check engine light off, I told the bank it didn't have anything to do with reliability of the engine and vehicle it was a simple sensor.  I didn't tell them we turned the light off in any way shape or form.  I did tell them that I wouldn't continue to do business with this bank if they weren't going to fund a contract for a simple check engine light on a vehicle.  However, because this was a previous customer I went ahead and scheduled for her to get the check engine light checked and fixed the problem that read in the computer for her check engine light.  Two days later after fixing one problem another popped up and said it was another sensor, an egr sensor this time.  I told her we would call her back when the sensor came in and we would try and accommodate her even though this wasn't a covered component of the warranty which was only a 50/50 engine transmission only internally lubricated parts only warranty.  However, I as the owner have been extremely ill and in and out of the hospital for the last month or so and unable to get everything done for [redacted].
I see that she says she had to due a full tune up, we don't include that in any warranty for any customer.  However if she needs parts in the future I will be happy to give her the parts at cost.
As for the copy of the timing chain being replaced and a copy of the repair.  This was done prior to us getting the vehicle and [redacted] hasn't provided us with the copy and we only have their word that is what they performed.  They told us timing belt not timing chain.  I can't provide an invoice since [redacted] isn't us and they don't have to provide us with one since they did it free of charge with the purchase of the vehicle.
I have sold [redacted] a car in the past and I am sorry she doesn't feel we are a credible company and therefore we no longer wish to do any further repairs to help her since they aren't covered items to start with under our warranty.  I wouldn't want to put my non credible company and employees to work for her under these circumstances, we won't be able to accommodate or make her happy at this point.
To receive her free oil change she must set up an appointment with [redacted] in our office at [redacted] and we will be happy to give her the floor mats at that time.
I wish [redacted] the best of luck in the future and hope she takes us up on the free oil change and floor mats.  I apologize that I have been sick for months and not able to help her but hope she finds the right credible company to do what she needs for her.
Sincerely,

My girlfriend and I bought a car about a month ago from Drive away motors in Ruckersville Va and we've had nothing but problems from day one. First the rotors and breaks went out and then the power steering went and now the A/C is shot to hell. The day we test drove it the lady [redacted] told us that the tire had a bubble in it from sitting so long and I don't know what I was talking about. So after two week's of driving it, I took it in and told them once again and the breaks and rotors were beyond wore out. Driving down rt 29 the power steering goes out ugh! I wouldn't deal with these crooks if my life depended on it. So please, please take my advice and don't do business with these people. I will never buy anything from them ever again.

Review: When I purchased the vehicle, the check engine lights was on. Finally found the issue to be the EGR sensor. Company ordered the sensor but ordered the wrong part. Over the past month and half been trying to get them to give me any information on getting the sensor fixed. Keep getting the run around by them saying we will call you, no calls, we will check on it, nothing happens, owner isn't in have to come back, come back and owner still isn't in. My messages I have left have been forgotten to be forwarded to the owner per the receptionist own admission.

I also now have to put approximately $200 into the vehicle due to it needing a full tune up (wires, plugs, cap, oil filter) which I was told the vehicle was is great running condition. I was also told that they had to change the timing chain, and I ask for proof of the fix for my records and still haven't received it.

As part of me getting my loan, the sensor had to be fixed. The dealership notified the finance company that the sensor had been fixed so the finance would go through and they would get paid. The finance company pushed the financing through on the dealerships word but my truck still isn't fixed. I have notified the finance company of this.

I have wasted a lot of time and gas driving back and forth to the dealership with no results. I feel I have no choice but to file this complaint.Desired Settlement: I would like my vehicle to be properly fixed and in great running condition as told. I would also like the repair slip for the timing chain being replaced. I was also promised that after making my fist months payment (which I have) that I would receive and oil change and after my second payment (which I have) that I would receive new floor mats. I would like this to be honored as well. Reimbursement for my time, gas, and trouble would be appreciated but not necessary. (a credible company would)

I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I am not satisfied with the response because now that I filed a complaint with Revdex.com the company is refusing to fix what they promised to fix to begin with. I wouldnt have contacted Revdex.com if I thought I had another choice to get results. I have called the company on numerous occasions and nobody knows anything about my issue with the sensor even though I have left several messages to get the issue resolved. The company ordered the part and it came in wrong. Whether the part was ordered wrong or it got sent wrong I dont know. I spoke with the owner on a Friday and she stated that she just got back from vacation that she would take care of reordering the sensor and she would call me the next Monday. When I didnt hear back, I started calling and leaving messages and coming by the dealership. I feel I have done everything to try to resolve this without contacting the Revdex.com, but when my calls get forgotten by the receptionist and nobody in the company except the owner knows what is going on I feel like I am being ignored and blown off.

All I want is what was promised, the EGR sensor replaced and the oil change with mats. If this is taken care of I will be satisfied. As the owner mentioned, I have bought a vehicle from this dealer in the past and was completely satisfied. I was shocked when this happened this time.
