Drive Change

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:Drive Change has never requested us to bring the vehicle to them for inspectionWe cannot drive the vehicle because the front end is loose and dangerous to drive but the thought of us towing the vehicle has never been mentioned eitherWe continued to work with our first mechanic because we live six hours away from Drive Change and Gus had even stated to get an estimate from a local mechanicWe had the first estimate emailed to Drive Change and asked if they would speak directly to *** (the mechanic)That did not initially happenSpeaking to our mechanic was avoided until I had communicated many times with Gus about our mechanic knowing exactly what was needed on the vehicle not usHe then spoke with our mechanic one time and then avoided calling him back like they had scheduledWhat was explained to Drive Change was that we could not give them an exact estimate until a part for the front end could be located which was proving difficult because it was an after market partGus told us he would not accept a hand written one and he needed one that was typed with brake percentagesthat was provided with the information we could give him at that timeThat estimate was again rejectedWe communicated to Gus that we could not get a complete "professional" estimate from *** *** *** until he could locate all of the needed partsOur mechanic then had to fight fire so I told Gus I would take the Jeep to the local dealership in town that sold Jeeps and I would get an estimate since our usual mechanic could not finish the estimateEstimate three is what they providedSince emailing that estimate to Gus he has not once attempted to contact us about the estimate or the dealershipHe has avoided all communications possible with the mechanics we are attempting to work withAt this time Drive Change has not attempted to fairly work with us and at one point accused us of changing out the tires and us not being honest about the issues with the vehicleThis specific conversation took place over the phone rather than email which is what we have mainly been using as communicationthat last estimate includes all issues with the Jeep as well as part numbers and labor costs which is what Gus specifically requestedIf he was to contact *** *** he would learn that this place is a legitimate dealershipEvery estimate we have tried to send Drive Change has been rejected for different reasons each timeSincerely,*** ***
