Follresponse (w / photo attachment) received via e-mail to Revdex.com: "I'm sticking to the facts I haveWe had several phone conversations about the car before [redacted] drove to the storeI see in her response There was a mention of the blue bookThis is a specialty carAt the time, the cheapest car next to mine being advertised was in the dollar rangeThe first response out everyone who called me is why is it so cheapThat's when I would explain the title situationThe car was fixed right and very niceAs for the sub woofer everything was in working order when I sold itI drove the car for a week prior to selling it and enjoyed it myselfThat's why I know everything workedWe have covered everything in depth hereI'm attaching a picture of the titleI handed it to him in the McDonald's parking lot in hudson WiHe looked it over and went on his wayAnd he would have had to take it to the DMV, and not the bank since he had to pay for the tax and new Lic plates and have it titled in WisconsinIt's pretty clearly marked [redacted] is 6'and a big boyHe knew his cars and he certainly wouldn't have a problem letting me know he didn't like anything about the deal if it was the first time he had seen the titleThanks for the time and if there is anything else I can do please call."

Not having received response to date, called business to get response -- spoke to owner Jeremy [redacted] .Mr [redacted] indicates that the actual buyer, [redacted] , was well aware that the GTO had a lemon law title -- says it was disclosed in the original listing for the car, was discussed during the sales process, and was stamped in red on the title Mr [redacted] signed. He says the GTO in question was deliberately priced $5,000+ lower than comparable GTO's without any sort of branded title, to allow for the fact that it had oneSays the vehicle was bought back for some sort of electrical issue that was later fixedMr [redacted] adds that the previous owner put approximately 50,miles on it after the repair, and that if any sort of electrical issues were going to pop back up, they likely would have done so during that 50,miles, before Mr [redacted] purchased the car.Mr [redacted] says when Mrs [redacted] sent him a frustrated message via Facebook in January, it was because she and her son had been attempting to trade the GTO toward something different, and were disappointed with the offers from other dealers(He adds that some of these offers were likely low because of the time of year -- says dealers don't like to buy rear-wheel drive sports cars in the dead of winter, etc.)When he became aware of Mrs [redacted] 's frustration, he told her Drive It Autos would make a better offer on the vehicle -- offered $7,000, or about twice what other dealers had offered at that pointHe says Mrs [redacted] was not open to this offer, and felt that her son's money should be refunded fully

I am rejecting this response because:  Mr. [redacted] is not being honest.  I've attached the car ad that the vehicle was purchased from--you can see that the title issue is not disclosed as he states.  I've attached all the car paperwork, the 3 dealers that I spoke with said that if the vehicle had a lemon title and he was disclosing it, it should have been listed on the remarks section of the bill of sale, you can see that it is not.  As he states, he did hand him the title however he did not give it to him until days after the sale had been made--the car was paid for the day that [redacted] bought it--much prior to him receiving the title.  When the title was received, it went straight to the bank as [redacted] had taken out a loan for the full amount that he paid for the car. Again at this exchange, Mr. [redacted] said absolutely nothing about the title condition and again [redacted] had Jordyn with him this day.  She confirms nothing was discussed regarding the state of the title.  Mr. [redacted] also states that the owner prior to [redacted] put 50,000 miles on the car--I've attached the auto check report which shows that gentleman bought the car with 76,100 miles on it from an auto auction.  The car had 80,000 miles on it when [redacted] purchased it.  This means that man kept the car for less than 5,000 miles.  I also find it interesting that Mr. [redacted] now mentions an electrical issue because the great subwoofer that he advertises in the ad does not work due to some sort of electrical issue in the car.  We had thought there was some, sort of loose wire and hadn't checked into it further. [redacted] and his girlfriend [redacted] were both there through the entire purchase and both are ready and willing to testify that Mr. [redacted] never mentioned any issue with the title to either of them.  I'm not basing my concerns off of what a dealer told me in the off-season-I've spoken with 3 different dealers, our bank, and the insurance company.  Since submitting my complaint, I've tried to sell the car outright myself.  I have had 9 different interested buyers and every single one has disappeared when I disclose the nature of the title.  Mr. [redacted] claims that the car was worth 5,000 grand more than he sold it for, please see the attached car blue book price with the mileage on the car when [redacted] purchased it.  The range is 9,091-11,512--the most important area being the second page which clearly states regardless of the condition of the car that amount is on a vehicle with a clean title history.  Mr. [redacted] offered us 7,000 to buy the car back.  He claims that he bought the car from the last owner for 8000 and sold it to us for 9900--meaning he has already made 1900 on an unlawful sale.  There is absolutely no way that he paid even near 8,000 for this car--it has been to auction 3 times.  We owe 9000 on this car.  I could not add more attachments but the current bluebook price for this car is $7,541-8,193--again that is if it had a clean title.  I don't see why he should get to offer us under what he claims it is worth to turn around and do the same thing to someone else-we will have lost 3,000 on the vehicle and he will have made several thousand off of a sale that was illegal.  My son would never have bought this car had the state of the title been disclosed to him.  If you are not able to do something to stop/reverse this illegal sale, I do plan to file in court.  I have consulted and been told that this was a completely illegal sale as a dealer in MN is required to disclose the nature of a title.

Follow-up response (w / photo attachment) received via e-mail to Revdex.com: "I'm sticking to the facts I have. We had several phone conversations about the car before [redacted] drove to the store. I see in her response There was a mention of the blue book. This is a specialty car. At the time, the cheapest car next to mine being advertised was in the 14000 dollar range. The first response out everyone who called me is why is it so cheap. That's when I would explain the title situation. The car was fixed right and very nice. As for the sub woofer everything was in working order when I sold it. I drove the car for a week prior to selling it and enjoyed it myself. That's why I know everything worked. We have covered everything in depth here. I'm attaching a picture of the title. I handed it to him in the McDonald's parking lot in hudson Wi. He looked it over and went on his way. And he would have had to take it to the DMV, and not the bank since he had to pay for the tax and new Lic plates and have it titled in Wisconsin. It's pretty clearly marked. [redacted] is 6'5 and a big boy. He knew his cars and he certainly wouldn't have a problem letting me know he didn't like anything about the deal if it was the first time he had seen the title. Thanks for the time and if there is anything else I can do please call."
