Driven Gym

I signed up for Driven gym for the 16 week weight loss program they advertised. They were looking for 45 women to commit to at least 3 days a week. Rob the trainer said it was only 16 weeks. The cost was $69 per month and IF YOU CHOOSE to continue it will only cost the 69 and not the normal over $130 per month. I attempted to attend 2 classes and the schedule was horrible. I emailed and was told they have early bird classes, 4-5pm (shift workers and stay home spouse) and 8pm for after hours. Their words not mine. Needless to say I was charged on 2/18 and asked to cancel on 2/19. I went back and asked for what I need to do to cancel the 3rd day. I was told I needed to send a letter and call a number. I was then informed it was a 12 month contract and it was $ 828. If I get a drs note it must state I cant work out until 1/21/21. I explained specifically I was going thru medical treatment for past 4 yrs and wanted to drop 20lbs by April and was doing WW in conjunction with this. I also explained that I needed to be in a program that I would be able to get out of because of my treatment and they said a drs note would be fine. I have a text from the person who signed me up stating 16 week program. Then he left a vm saying $69 is not a lot of money at this age and its not like it is cancer. You should be able to afford it. It is a 16 week program then says but its for a year you just need to send a certified letter to get out of it. They lied, misrepresented themselves. What they are doing is shady to say the least. I emailed asking for a copy of my contract and they said I need to send prepaid stamped envelope to receive it. Lets not forget they have no idea who Rob is..the trainer who signed me up, lives in Florida and only comes out to promote this program and leave. They also said they give you a meal plan which is paleo. To get guidance for meals its an additional $ 250.
