I am in receipt of your complaint letter on behalf of [redacted]. This letter is to serve as my response. This corporation is governed by the laws of the State of WV. in short, we are required to provide a 30 day/1,000 mile warranty on powertrain items. We are in no way required to guarantee out...

of state inspections or provide a warranty over and above WV State Law. We do however, work with our out of state clients to ensure our cars pass their states inspections, and offer a complimentary 6mo warranty through our business partner CNA. This is company policy and in no way a legal obligation.[redacted] purchased this 2004 [redacted] for her daughter. Her daughter and her boyfriend then took the vehicle "off roading" in a fashion that no vehicle in new condition, and Certainly not in 12 year old condition, should have been placed in. After doing this they brought the vehicle back with multiple complaints. When we brought the vehicle in to diagnose it we found the undercarriage of the vehicle was "caked" in mud. The vehicle's differential had been Completely compromised and the engine was near failure due to the amount of mud that was choking it. We have photographic evidence of this. Since our 6 month Warranty is provided via third party, the warranty was voided due to the abnormal conditions the unit was put through by its owners. We have a duty to [redacted] to disclose such matters to them. Furthermore, we are confident the stress placed on the unit would have voided its Original manufacturer's Warranty, had it been a new vehicle. This diagnosis was done by a Level 1 ASE Master Certified Technician and a WV State Inspector.Frankly, we sold this family fine automobile for its age, condition and price. They should be ashamed of themselves for what they did to it, the way they have tried to conceal it, and their blatant crude behavior towards my staff. Had they done the right thing and taken it directly to a MD inspection facility, we would have worked with them to remedy any issues. But that did not happen. The unit was Compromised, then taken to an inspection facility, and then brought back to us in its deplorable Condition,Finally, I want to reiterate we have no legal obligations to [redacted]. Her 30 day WW Implied Warranty has long since expired. The courts are always at her disposal and we will successfully defend against any further nonsense claim against this enterprise. Her request for a refund fund is denied.Sincerely,Danie A[redacted]President DrivePros, LLC,
