I'm sorry I ever dealt with these folks They tried to panic me and sell me a $"fix" to what they claim are software and operating system problems on my brand new Windows computerThey are trying to take advantage of a layman's lack of knowledge of how Windows works

I just spent over an hour on the phone to their customer service tech ( who was in India)I had purchased the service online because my drivers were out of dateI had not had any problems with my Windows system at all, and had not gotten any alerts from my security programHowever, upon calling the tech, as I was required to do to activate my product...all of a sudden he found "severe system corruption, spyware, malware, many "bad " problems...which of course...he offered to fix for only No ThanksNow, because I let then remotely control my computer...I'm afraid they did something to itI'm taking it to somebody locally asap to be checked out

I spend 1/hours with these crooks last night and reversed the credit card charge this morning Stay away from them The only thing they will do for you is take your money

I'm sorry I ever dealt with these folks. They tried to panic me and sell me a $300 "fix" to what they claim are software and operating system problems on my brand new Windows 8.1 computer. They are trying to take advantage of a layman's lack of knowledge of how Windows works.

Review: I needed to update my computer's drivers. I went on-line and found this company. They required that I register by telephone. I called and was connected to a Pakastani person. He required that I allow him to remotely control my computer. He scanned my machine and found 20 drivers needing replacement. He, apparently, started to replace them. After a short time he he began criticizing my computer and launched into a very long pitch about how my computer needed unknown critical repairs that only their technicians could repair--dissing in the presentation Best Buy's Geek Squad--and offered to repair my machine for $300.00-plus. When I hesitated he offered some "compromise" at $200.00-plus. I told him all I wanted is the drivers brought up to date, He argued on and on. When I told him "no, I'll take care of that myself," he said "OK, but the terrible damage to my computer would be my responsibility." I repeated that I didn't want the "repair service" and the connection was broken. Subsequently, I went to another on-line company and they scanned my computer and found 18 drivers in need of updating. They proceeded to replace them and that was that. No fuss, no con job, no telephone contact.Desired Settlement: I want my money back. When he launched into his pitch, I recognized it as one that I had heard complaints about. So, in addition to my money back I'd like them to do what they promise without the Pakistan sales pitch which I consider the switch from promising to correct driver troubles which they never did. I think they get their big money from scaring folks into paying them to repair "unknown" defects in their computers. The pitch was rehearsed and organized for scare selling.

I purchased the Driver Manager. The only thing I got from this was a tech who tries to sell me $399.00 worth of cleaning for my computer. He tried to use scare tatics for over a hour. I really can't tell if this Driver Manager works at all. I still had to keep scanning my system myself. This whole ordeal left me with a terrible headache I wish I read reviews about the company before purchasing this. Waste of money and time.
