Bad Service
Where to start first I regret purchasing a vehicle from Drivetime they sucked me in saying "we help people with bad credit". Thats a bunch of crap-they take advantage of people with bad credit like they are getting some incentive. So I applied and I was approved got a call from Reggie at Gastonia, NC. So first they offered me a Hyundai then I tell them I have 2200 they offered me a Nissan. So I go pick up the car and because I did not have the full 2200.00 they offered me the Hyundai. I am a rideshare driver so after 86k miles, they tell me they only have 1500 manufacturers warranty and Silver Rock is not going to cover anything outside of that so I had to pay 558 for new rotors the car had bad rotors just good enough to pass inspection then I am SOL. OK, enough of all the SilverRock drama. So today, Bridge crest who they use for financing I was a week late my bank was not processing checks and they came and repossessed my vehicle. I feel it was some type of retaliation with drivetime, because I complained on them. If you all end up having a class action lawsuit, I would be a part of it. I personally think that 1500 mileage for that warranty for SilverRock is for the birds.

don't use any of them. car went to shop before xmas. needs turbo and intracooler -- costed me 675.00 on parts not covered. didn't even get to drive it home and same problem as before. oh -- there is fluid in the turbo charger AGAIN ! a REAL mechanic would ask .. blown head gasket ? top of the list at old school. back in and now 2 MONTHS LATER it's still not done. wrong parts, mechanic not here. well .. silver rock should have real mechanics instead of techs from tire kingdom ( the recommended repair shop .. for real ) still calling and still waiting. i'm starting to think just walk away and get something out right even knowing the my credit I worked on so hard will be shot to st. don't use these people .. bad news all around.

we got a grand caravan 7-20-19 with in two weeks time the transmission went bad and had to be replaced with after market transmission shortly after that seal has gone bad they told us transmission 12-12,000 mile warranty but now say parts supplier has to fix it . we did not get there extended warranty and at that drive time sales man ask do you 3,000 for new transmission? now I see why they ask that this entire ordeal is one big scam

see I never would deal with them again trust me

My car has been at the shop since Saturday and its Thursday. The car just got diagnosis done they say it will be ready Monday. I called the silver rock being I was told that I would be reimbursed for my rental, but when I called today they said they can't reimburse for rental being the repair hours. Now I'm stuck with a rental bill, deductible, and a uncovered thermostat cost. They are horrible don't recommend no one to get this warranty. I just purchased my vehicle june.

My previous vehicle had engine issues that caused challenges to get back from work and other needed places.
I went to Drivetime and encountered a good experience of purchasing a preowned vehicle.
Unfortunately, while driving on the interstate several months later, the car began to decrease in speed and all lights came on until I cam to a total stop. I was completely terrified yet thankful that my now inoperable vehicle did not cause an accident while slowly coasting to the side of the road while other vehicles passed by going 70 mph...
I had the vehicle towed in which I was stated I would be reimbursed by the warranty company silverrock (still waiting on that check).
After submitting the claim to silverrock, they assigned an inspector/adjustor that Friday. The policy states inspection of the vehicle takes 24-48 hours. The adjustor was over the policy's timeframe; he/she viewed my vehicle the following Wednesday.
The following week, I was told the claim was approved. The third week, the parts arrive and I was told it wound take two days to repair (engine issues). Then I was told upon the arrival of the parts, one of the parts was broken and needed to be reordered and was told it wound be ready that Friday. Friday arrives vehicle is not ready and I am told Wednesday. Wednesday arrives and I am told a part has been ordered in regards to the radiator.
I call the warranty company in which I was told that the adjuster stated the car will be ready Thursday and they would offer me a per diem amount for the timeframe they were repairing the vehicle.
Engine and radiator issues is unacceptable. I thought I was purchasing a reliable safe car in which I wouldn't have to worry about major repairs for several years maybe more.
I am truly terrified driving the car. It's been 3 weeks, 3 days, and counting that my car has been at the repair shop.
I am truly upset but more do disappointed that this car is a lemon. I will never feel safe driving this vehicle again.
