I originally made [redacted] aware of problems with the work done in mid Decby phone As this type of work is seasonal and the material is only available during April through Sept30th, [redacted] said he would return to the area next summer I understood and agreed that would be fine He did return to our subdivision the next summer and yet did not contact me despite my making several phone calls I also spoke directly with his foreman [redacted] when I saw him working on a project in our subdivision that same summer After no response from [redacted] , I then resorted to formal letters by Certified Return receipt mail from myself and a lawyer No written response to either by mail I did get a phone call after the letter from the lawyer and he again said he would be back next summer (2017) and check in to inspect the defects and then do the repairs He never called nor showed up despite more phone calls [redacted] NEVER PUTS ANYTHING IN WRITING EXCEPT HIS WORTHLESS WARRANTY All of these contacts were done during the warranty period with the exception of calls made this past summer I filed my complaint with Revdex.com as a last resort hoping to at least get his designation with the Revdex.com removed as I no longer believe anything he says Being patient and reasonable with him just marks me in his eyes as a sucker The fact that others have tried to have him served for court proceedings also demonstrates his devious and untrustworthy business practices In the mean time, further degradation to his work has occurred due to a timely lack of repair $14,paid for shoddy work and no warranty repair Add in my time dealing with this and the lawyer fees and I'm into this for over $17,000.Again let me state that I would NOT have done business with Driveway Experts if they hadn't had the Revdex.com designation The Revdex.com has had a strong, positive reputation nationwide over the last several decades This has caused many people such as myself to do business with those that have your designation displayed on their promo literature, yellow page ads and websitesAt this point in time, I no longer have that confidence

Customer had a separate company do all base and prep work I was contracted to apply a double course chip seal over road baseI informed him at the time that he is at feet elavation and I recommend inches of hot mix asphalt he informed me he worked for the county road department for years and he want a chip sealhe watched the entire job start to finish and payed us upon completion of the work months later he sent a letter claiming the chip seal failedI informed mister loring that we was not going to be in his area tell the spring because he is miles from our home office in ***I came to mister lorings property in may of this year and found that the only damage that was visible on his driveway was from his aggressive snow removal which is not covered under warrantyI had warned the consumer of chip seal and high elavation and how plowing/snow removal it is not very durable but with his road experience that is what he wanted so I installed it for him also the base he had a outside individual install was not up to specI have been patient with ** *** during his hostile threats to do damage to my equipment and his racial slurs against my employeesThe only option I have for ** *** is if he pays for the material I will supply the labor and equipment to apply and do the repairs needed to try to help him or if he decides he wants asphalt I will beat any price by 25% just to try to resolve this situationI'm not sure if my African American or Hispanic employees will feel comfortable returning to ** *** property but if I can resolve this complaint and try to keep my record clean as it has been for the last Germans I would be willing to resolve this I have also told the Revdex.com of his threats and racial remarks against my employees and told them I didn't feel comfortable having any further connections with ** *** but the demanded I have no choice so I just want this to be on record that I am very disappointed in the way the Revdex.com handled this and I will not continue to advertise my accreditation.
