This customer did not come in for a tune up She came in because her vehicle was leaking antifreezeThe antifreeze leak had been consistent for two weeks which the customer's husband did not mention when he bought the car I was asked to stop the leak coming from the intake manifoldI recommended repairing the valve cover gaskets as well because they were also leaking and changing the spark plugsAfter fixing the leaks during testing I added antifreeze and the engine was not holding pressure at this point in time I explained to the customers husband that it had a blown head gasketAt this point in time the husband told me he was driving it for two weeks while it was overheating which explained the damage to the head gasketThere is no way to test if the antifreeze is holding pressure except to repair the leaks That is exactly what I did Customer requested a refund and was denied because all work performed was done as promised The customers husband who bought the vehicle completely understands the situation and did not have any issues when he received the car

recommended repairing the valve cover gaskets as well because they were also leaking and changing the spark plugs. After fixing the leaks during testing I added antifreeze and the engine was not holding pressure at this point in time I explained to the customers husband that it had a blown head gasket. At this point in time the husband told me he was driving it for two weeks while it was overheating which explained the damage to the head gasket. There is no way to test if the antifreeze is holding pressure except to repair the leaks.  That is exactly what I did.  Customer requested a refund and was denied because all work performed was done as promised.  The customers husband who bought the vehicle completely understands the situation and did not have any issues when he received the car.
