My mom [redacted] pass [redacted] XX XXXX. At which time we used Drozdal Funeral Home for the funeral arrangements. The Funeral was pre-paid for the amount of [redacted] It included carving the cemetery stone which was already in place with her [redacted] and name. All the funeral home has to do is carve the Year of Death - 2013. I started calling the funeral home about 3 months after mom passed only to get excuse after excuse as to why the gravestone was not completed.The last straw was when I spoke to the funeral home 11/10/14 and was told that the person who usually does this work was in a car accident and they had to find someone else for the job. I was promised a finished stone by [redacted] The stone still is not complete and today's date is [redacted] 2014.Product_Or_Service: Pre-paid funeral service - cemetery stoneDesired SettlementI want the stone completed with mom's Year of Death - 2013 by the end of the year. Or I want the cost of the carving sent to me so I can hire someone else to do the job.Business Response Ms. [redacted] is questioning engraving of her mothers monument, with her mothers year of death. This was completed before [redacted] 2014 to be exact. This also has nothing to do with the Drozdal Funeral Home, monument work is only done by monument companies. The monument company is, [redacted]
