Drs. Belasco, Ober & Associates

Review: I called [redacted], Ober & Associates because I was not happy with the quality of work that I received from my previous dentist (Dr. Cessna). I called their office because they were listed as "in network". I called to request a price for a 2-surface filling. They said they could not give me a price over the phone and I had to stop in. So I stopped in to get a price on fixing the filling described above. The doctor looked at it then they printed me out a price. This price was unacceptable ($80 out of my pocket, and $80 charged to the insurance company), so I chose to go to a different dentist. But before I left, they told me I owed a $15 co-pay and I had to sign the quote. I reluctantly paid the $15 and signed the quote as "quote received". This seemed strange to me. Then months later, I received another bill for $30. I sent in a check for $30 on 4/17/14. I expect to be fully refunded for the $45 and the stamp to send a check for the additional $30 I was charged. These are terrible business practices that are shady at best!Desired Settlement: $45 for fees and $0.49 for a stamp ($45.49 total), and to change business practices by giving out cost of services when requested.
