I bought a Kuryakyn KY4001 Light bar for my motorcycle for $140 + shipping from this company on eBay. When I tested the LED turn signals before installing it, I found one side would not work. I contacted them about this problem and they told me that because I bought it on eBay that the factory warranty wasn't in effect. This was a customer return that they sold me, so in essence, it was brand new, never installed on any motorcycle. The factory warranty covers this part for 3 years, and they would have replaced it for free, but now I must pay nearly $90 for the parts to fix a brand new light bar. I fail to see what the problem is, because it was brand new, never having been installed, and the part would have been free from Kuryakyn, but they are refusing to warranty it. Had I known that there was no warranty, I would not have purchased it in the first place, and nowhere did it state that in their ad on eBay either. So watch what you buy from this company...and be SURE that there is a warranty on it BEFORE you buy from them! Because I waited to install it past the 30 day eBay guarantee, they won't do anything about it either. I waited until winter was over before I started to install it, because my garage isn't heated, and I live in Iowa! My bad for not working on it in below zero temps, I guess.
