Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: the rep told me I could not make an payments and was going to send me to collectionI explained I will make a payment every two weeks until my account is paid offShe was very nasty and told me I need to speak to her supervisor, and stated that the supervisor was going to say the same thing, and stated I'm wasting my timeI just wanted to make a payment and try to clear this matter upI do appreciate the supervisor trying to help but being nasty and rude to someone I just can't understand.
Regards,

As I have not received this complaint prior (and the employee has worked for us for over 12 years), there is no other action that I can take at this time.Sincerely,Anne M. When she proposed...

making a partial payment of $13.01 on a balance of $87.01 she was advised that her account was over 90 days old (without a payment) and was a candidate for transfer to our collections agency. She was informed that her proposed payment was not a high enough percentage to keep her account from being transferred to collections. She then requested to speak with me. When spoke with her, I re-explained the above, and that we were making every attempt to keep from sending her account to collections. She chose to make the small payment even if her account was to go to collections. We accepted that payment that day.Sincerely,Anne B

Review: I went to the doctor's office to see why my ears kept popping as if I was going through pressure changes (like in an airplane). During the exam, the doctor mentioned I should a hearing test. I did not say I had problems with my hearing, in fact my hearing was quite good, I just had just popping. At no time was I ever informed of the cost. The casual mention of the exam with no further details led me to believe it was a relatively small thing and wouldn't cost much. Come to find out, when I got the bill in the mail days later, that casually mentioned exam cost $274. $274 to sit in a room, listen to sounds, and say yes if I heard them. Granted, I'm sure the computer had to do some work to output the graph, but $274? If I had known they were going to charge me an outrageous price for something I didn't ask for, didn't need, and had no intention of getting when I originally went to the office, I would have declined the test.

The doctor didn't mention anything about price. The receptionist didn't mention anything about price. The person doing the test didn't mention anything about price. The person who took the co-pay didn't mention anything about price. Nowhere at any time was any mention made that the casually mentioned hearing test was going to cost $274. The doctors are in a position of authority and know that most patients accept what they say because of who they are. I believe this was used to take advantage of me in order to up-sell a more expensive procedure. I absolutely would not have agreed to the, in my opinion, needless test if I had been informed of the price. I called up their billing department and office manager and both times got a curt "sorry, its your problem, and there is nothing we can do". They absolutely could do something, but instead they chose to do nothing, placed the blame on me, and treated me with condescending attitudes that implied I was a dumb patient.Desired Settlement: I would like to have any current outstanding balance removed from my account ($25 as far as I am aware, unless they have managed to charge me for something else they didn't inform me of), my information removed from their systems, and no further contact with them once these actions have been taken.
