I am in receipt of a complaint to the Revdex.com dated May 18th and reference number *** from a *** *** ***Although I will touch on the process below, this situation was completely rectified back on May 13th when the necessary write-off was added to the patient’s accountThis is
something that I would have much preferred to have been taken care of when it first occurred but the employee in question (Michelle from our Yorktowne practice) left our employment without notice in mid November of last year and had failed to take care of any pending business prior to her departureThe erroneous balance thus stayed in the system until our accounting software automatically sent out a statement to *** *** in FebruaryWe now get to the frustrating part, the second employee that she dealt with, Caitlinn, went on medical leave on February 28th and once again failed to take care of pending issuesWhen this was first brought to my attention by another Yorktowne employee, Robert, on May 12th, I researched the issue and issued the write-off the next dayIt appears that it then boils down to a timing issue relative to her having filed a complaint that we were unaware of and our having taken care of the issue in the interimI have attached a copy of her receipt that shows the patient balance is correctly at $and has been since May 13thI have zero explanation for the call that she has listed on 3/30,would love to know who it was with so that I could enact disciplinary action but there is no record of it in the computer system audit trail associated with her patient file.If you need any further information and/or clarification please feel free to reach me via the contact information found below.Yours for Better Vision,Daniel BChief Operating Officer
