Dry Clean City

Two pairs of short were damaged. The employee said that their equipment could not do the damage. Let's see. Short go in for cleaning and the claps closing the pockets work fine. The shorts come back and the clasps will not close. Something in their possession damaged the clasps.Desired SettlementI have taken the short to [redacted] in Raleigh for repair. I took a white jacket trimmed in black to this cleaners. It was ruined. They will not compensate me for the jacket nor will they take responsibility.Date 3/19/15Attending clerk was very rude said it wasn't their fault. I had only worn the suit one time. Here is our response to her complaint about her jacket. First time when Mrs. [redacted] brought the Black and White jacket for dry cleaning and the color bleeded, we offered to retry and see if it can be removed. After trying two times the black color could not be completely removed. It is an issue we make customer aware of whenever a blanck and white garment is brought to our store. We also have a sign displayed on the wall in reference to this issue. After acknowledging the issue, the manager offered a store credit to Ms. [redacted], a standard practice in most dry cleaners. First she agreed to accept the credit, upon which the manager tried to get the form to write up credit for her. During that time, a long time customer walked in the store to drop off her clothes. Ms. [redacted] tried to persuade the customer not to give clothes for dry cleaning at our store as she had issue with her jacket. Per our manager, the customer told Ms. [redacted] that she has had no problem with our store. On the contrary, she dropped off her clothes for dry cleaning, anyway.Ms. [redacted] was made aware of the sign and the manager was willing to offer the credit, which Ms. [redacted] agreed to and then changed her mind. We have been in the location for ten years and have a large loyal customer base that we take care of. We will offer credit to Ms. [redacted] if she still wishes to come and complete the form to receive the credit. Once again, we appreciate the opportunity to be of service to Ms. [redacted] and all of our customers.
