We have disclaimer signage posted about possible color loss, and shirking of itemsAdditionally it is on the back of each receipt we have no problem refunding the service charges to any unsatisfied customerBut the garment was clean by leather and suede professionals to the best of their ability We can't ensure that boots damage by bad weather conditions will come back with possible color loss, especially when the boots had salt stains on them

I am rejecting this response because:ASAP cleaners has a desclaimer for discoloration, my boots are not discolored they are ripped apart at the seams. The thread has come undone and the fabric on the boots has become ripped and damaged. We are not talking about minor discoloration, we are talking about complete damage. What's your disclaimer on completely damaging an item? That's strange that now you are able to refund the service charge when the manager at ASAP Cleaners refused the refund in the cleaners. Seems like you don't stand by your own disclaimers. As for the so called professional cleaners you hired, I was never told when leaving my [redacted] boots in your care that you were sending them out to another company, nor is this mentioned anywhere in your store. Finally, it is not my problem that you hired unprofessional cleaners to do work you cannot do, but it is your responsibility to take care of an unhappy customer whose item was damaged in your care because you hired another company to do your work.

Review: I would like to file a formal complaint against **. [redacted], Manger at DryClean Depot in [redacted], MD. On Friday October 18th I dropped off 6 comforters for cleaning with the assumption that if I dropped them off by 9 they would be ready by 5 as they advertise. Only after I paid I was told they wouldn't be ready for 3 days. This posed a problem because my family wouldn't have any blankets to sleep with that night as I was having them all cleaned. I asked to cancel the order at that point because we would need something to sleep with. The person then offered to have two specific items ready by that evening for pick up, which I agreed too and paid. That night I went in at 730 p.m. to pick the 2 articles and was presented with the wrong two pieces. Two younger employees then searched around and located the other items (none of which were "ready". They were in a canvas bin and I still had to wait for them to be steamed, folded and put in a bag). This took about 30 minutes. At this point they presented me with a total of 5 items and I was told I could come back the next day to get the last piece. When I got home, balled up in one of my blankets was a polo shirt for "[redacted]" which was not my property and I returned it on my next trip. When I asked which ticket to bring back I was told "I'm not sure, just bring all of the tickets back and we will figure it out later." I was not able to go back to the location until Monday October 21st to pick up my remaining article. I went in and presented all of my tickets as instructed and after about 10 minutes of waiting, they still weren't able to locate my final item. A young male employee went to his manager (**. [redacted]) and told him the issue. At this point **. [redacted] sarcastically requested that I go home and look for it because I probably got it back and didn't realize it!!!!!! This was so embarrassing and a direct attack of my character in front of other customers. After this happened **. [redacted] sent the young male employee over to me with a piece of paper to fill out for them to do an investigation about the missing article which would take 30 days. At this point I clearly was angry and told him that either I was leaving with my blanket or money to buy another one. Note: Until this point **. [redacted] hadn't approached me to have a conversation about the situation, he only had this employee relay messages from him to me. I then walked over to where **. [redacted] was sitting and asked that he have a conversation with me instead of having this kid run back and forth. At this point he lied and said the kid was actually HIS manager. I called the non emergency police phone number because my property had either been mistakenly given to someone else (just as the someone else's shirt had been given to me), I was getting no resolution, there was no apology, I was asked to leave to go home and look for it, and I was accused of being less than honest about the situation. At no point did I receive an apology about misplacing my property or humiliating me by insinuating that I has already received my property. As I was waiting outside for the police to arrive (about 20 minutes), the young man approached my car with the article and said they just found it "in the back". Surely I thought at this point I would receive at minimum an apology for the accusation of already receiving my article, which I clearly did not receive. The police arrived and advised me to file a civil case or contact the Revdex.com. I don't feel it necessary to file any type of legal case as long as I receive compensation for the several days of awful service I was given and the blatant attack of my character. At no point did this business accept personal accountability for their mistakes that cost me a lot of time and stress as a result of it. **. [redacted] is the worst example of management I have ever seen in any business. Never have I felt so belittled by a business I was paying for a service with.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded for the cost of my services. $99.

Response:

I am very sorry that the garments were not ready, but our in by 9 out by five only applies to garments. We only advertise that we can turn around you garments same day. But I will always attempt to accommodate a customer in some form or another. So what I am willing to do is clean all those 5 comforters at a later date and time for 50% off. You can keep this email as your proof of my offer.
