I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
First of all, I did NOT demand for the stain to be removed during my pick up.  When I picked up my suit, I noticed that the stain was still there so I told [redacted] (the manager) about it.  She DID NOT even mention signing a release form.  She did not ask me to sign anything at all.  She instead, took my suit to the back of the store, and pressured washed it.  It only took a few minutes for her to return with my suit which was now wet.  She told me to wait until it dries and it will be fine.   When it was dry, the fabric was clearly damaged.  She claimed the suit was manufactured like this from the store.  This is a very expensive Italian suit, so I highly doubt that they would sell this suit damaged without passing quality check.  If they are claiming that I refused to sign a waiver, then WHY would they even proceed to clean my suit a second time without my authorization?
I took the suit to another dry cleaner for a professional second opinion and this dry cleaner told me that the suit was damaged due to pressure cleaning that was performed too close. You can refer to all these review here to see that I am not the first customer who has had an issue with garments being damaged by their negligence.  Their customer service, especially by [redacted], is horrendous.  Companies like this should not stay in business.  It seems like numerous consumers have been unprofessionally yelled at by her.  Look at how many people posted negative reviews about this "manager" (Indian manager)[redacted]I am not asking this business to perform another dry clean service.  I am not taking my business here because of this horrible and rude service, that damaged my very expensive suit.  We want this business to accept that it exhibits bad behavior and practice, instead of calling the consumer "demanding" and "unreasonable".  1) I want a refund of my $14.10 service.  2) I want them to reimburse me for the cost of the suit.  I understand asking for 100% of the suit's price is not reasonable.  Willing to negotiate.3) I want a written apology.

12.8px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;">I'd like to explain the case.
The customer came 7/26/16 6:53 pm.and dropped their cotton T-Shirts(9pcs).
After that we gave the invoice(claim ticket- as attached.(#2)) to the customer.
We charged it $ 4.25/each .(regular price).
The customer misunderstood our price.
For example we charged $1.29/each for laundry dress shirts.(not drycleanable
cotton T -shirts, polo shirts)
If the customer didn't like the price, they got a chance to return the garments after received the invoice.
So, there was no arguing point.
When the customer left our store, she said "[redacted] xxxxx, i'll not coming"....
So I said, "Thanks not coming again." That's it.

Review: I was quoted a dry cleaning price of $1.29 per cotton shirt. Instead the man and women who work in the store decided to charge me $4.25 per shirt. When I questioned the price increase he said to pay or leave. Told me that my t-shirts were not cotton and they were. I bought the shirts from JC Penny and are 100% cotton. I paid $38.89 and was told to get out and never come back. I told him that I will be reporting his business. This is VERY unprofessional and I will report to the county as well. And have immigration get involved to check their citizenship. There is alot of bad reviews about this business. I will not tolerate being disrespected!Desired Settlement: I want a full refund $38.89 in a form of a money order mailed to me. I will not set foot back into that location again.

Response:

Dear [redacted],I'm the manager of DRY CLEAN EXPRESS.

Review: I had gone to this establishment to do the usual dry cleaning of my work uniforms, which are 3 pairs of black pants, and 3 grey long sleeve shirts with my company's patch on it. I had left the uniforms on 3/19/14, and picked them up at approximately 3/20/14 at 12:42 PM. When I was preparing to go to do my usual night shift, I put on one pair of said pants, and noticed a large burn mark from an iron. After taking them off and putting on one of my grey work shirts, I noticed a burn mark on the collar of it, and a slight small burn on the back of the shirt itself. The next day, I bought the pair of pants and grey shirt to the business. I spoke to an [redacted] middle aged lady and her [redacted]. They immediately told me that the burns had been there before I left it, and they noticed it when they were dry cleaning. I explained to them that I use their business because I do not iron my work uniforms, and that the burns had not been there before I came, only after. I also asked if they had noticed it during the work, why would they have not have told me? The lady then told me that I was "in a rush" and she didn't have time to tell me. The man supported her in this story, saying that it was there before I came and they had no time to tell me. I again explained that I do not iron these clothes, and only use their services to clean these uniforms. They then began to show me their instruments, telling me that it was impossible for them to have caused a burn based on the instruments they used to clean. I again told them that I do not iron these clothes, and in fact, I do not iron at all, so I don't know what they're showing me. I explained again, that the only time my uniforms are ironed, is through their services. I explained also that I have been wearing the same uniforms over the past few weeks with no cleaning whatsoever, since I had not got a chance to go to them. I tried very hard to explain to them, even though I knew they had known, that the burn mark was caused by mishandling at the business. They insisted that it was my fault, and eventually called me a liar. The woman then began offering compensation by saying that they could fix it, but I would have to pay for it. I explained to them that I was not going to pay for their mistake and I was not lying and they were in fact lying to me to avoid taking responsibility of a simple mistake. The man began screaming at me, telling me to leave his business and not return while the lady told him to calm down. I had told them that it was fine, I wouldn't be coming back anyway. As I was leaving, I was left with some coarse language from the man telling me to go " [redacted] myself" as I departed. At some point, I realized that I had left the receipt behind, and turned around to go back to the business to pick it up. Upon returning, I calmly asked the woman for the receipt which she had pulled out of the trash, crumpled up. The man immediately came up to me, and aggressively told me not to come back. Ignoring him, I took the receipt and made my way towards the door, telling them I would seek compensation as I walked out and being yelled "Oh yeah? You too." by the woman who had handed me the receipt.Desired Settlement: Replacement of the black pair of pants that were burned and grey long sleeve shirt that were burned. Total replacement cost is $44.00. I can provide a detailed sheet showing the exact amount of cost.

Review: Brought in clothing for dry cleaning. Clothes were not clean and some were damaged. Brought back to the attention of [redacted], the manager, who I felt was extremely rude. [redacted] communicated that the issue was due to the material of the clothes, not their services. My clothes were purchased in immaculate condition. She told us that this "is a value discount cleaners, and if you want better service and quality, go elsewhere." She went on a shouting match in front of other customers, which I believe to be totally unprofessional. If you read reviews on Yelp, you will see that numerous customers have the same issue with bad customer service and quality of work (damaged or uncleaned items) with this establishment.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive a written apology and a refund on my recent dry cleaning service. Total amount is $14.10 and ticket number 503-552. I would also like this establishment to practice better customer service to future customers by training its management and employees.

Review: This business has for over a year now maintained a large sign out front claiming to dry clean clothing for $1.89 per garment. Until January 1, 2104, they added a surcharge of $0.11 per garment (i.e. they charged $2.00 per garment); this surcharge was nowhere reflected in the signage outside. Now they have posted a sign on their door that states they have raised the price to $2.25 per garment, yet the large sign visible from the street still advertises the service for $1.89. While the sign on the door says "New sign order" (sic), it is difficult to believe that, 4 months since the price change, the corrected sign has not arrived. I believe this to be an unfair and unethical business practice.Desired Settlement: Correct the signage immediately and desist from deceptive business practice. A letter of apology would also be in order.

Review: On 6/23/13 I dropped off two pairs of pants to be dry cleaned. They told me that they would be ready for pick-up on 6/25/13. I went in on 6/26 to pick them up and they said they were not done and come back the next day. I actually waited an entire week before I could get back in, so I came back in on 7/1 and not only were they not done, but they were not even in the store. They guy told me that they send them to their [redacted] to be cleaned. He said he would call them to track them down and that I should come back the next day and they should have them. Again, I waited a couple days and then came back on 7/6 and again, pants are nowhere to be found. The guys in the store told me that if I wanted to, I could go check all of their racks to see if the pants were on it, so I actually did that. And surprise, the pants were not on their rack. So I asked if I could speak to a manager in which he would not provide me the information for. Then, I called their [redacted] to see if I could get some answers since that is where they apparently sent my pants. Again, they took my info down and said they'd look to see if they were there and then call me back that same day. They did not! I called back there again on 7/8 to check on the status of my pants. they had no idea and when I asked to speak with a manager, she wouldn't give me the information or even who the manager was so that I could call them.Which brings me to now, having to file a complaint on Revdex.com.Desired Settlement: I want to speak with the owner and ultimately get my pants back or have them replaced at 100% of the cost.
