Let me start by saying the Revdex.com is aware of the Federal Trade Commissions "Care Label Rule" which applies in my comments below.In accordance with the Federal Trade Commission if a Dry Cleaner cleans a garment per the Care Label and damage occurs then it is the fault of the manufacturerIn this case it would be due to poor workmanshipThe next step would be for the consumer to take it back to the place of purchase for a remedy to the problemDry cleaning a garment will not cause the hem to totally come out of the garment unless it was poorly made or it is very oldThis is why we didn't take responsibility per the "Care Label Rule"We would have gladly repaired the garment however the customer needed it done that day and that wasn't possible because we do not have a seamstress at our locationWe were unable to communicate our ability to repair the garment due to the customer becoming aggravated and walking outWe were in no way rude to this customer she just absolutely didn't want to hear what we had to say if it wouldn't solve her problemWe make it a point to provide great customer service and will do what we can to keep our customers happyAs a courtesy to the customer we would be more than happy to re-hem her dress at no charge

Dry cleaning a garment will not cause the hem to totally come out of the garment unless it was poorly made or it is very old. This is why we didn't take responsibility per the "Care Label Rule". We would have gladly repaired the garment however the customer needed it done that day and that wasn't possible because we do not have a seamstress at our location. We apologize for the inconvenience we have caused. Mrs [redacted] came in the following day and we discussed the problem in detail. I apologized and assured her we would either find the missing shirts or take care of the problem. We discussed the fact that my employee is young and inexperienced and...

handling such matters and she understood. The next day we recovered the 7 shirts. I have left 3 message with the [redacted] but they have yet to come and get them. I also removed the charge for the initial cleaning as well as put a additional $20 store credit for future cleanings.  Thank You,[redacted] - Manager
