Review: I went into this facility needing a dress to get hemmed and to ask for a professional opinion to create a slit in the dress. As an ongoing customer that I 'am to the facility I asked her for a slit in the dress and she agreed that it would be ok. I went to pick up the dress as she suggested a couple of days after. The dress had been hemmed and had the slit requested but it looked very unprofessional and you could see the lining as I walked so the dress was flapping. As the unsatisfied customer I was I gave [redacted] an opportunity to fix it and so that gave her a couple of days more. When I went back to pick up the dress she was only done half way and started sewing when I got there, I tried it on and once again the dress looked poorly worked on and at that point my dress had been ruined. I went to ask another seamstress for an opinion and he said he couldn't take the dress because she had already damaged the gown. I went back to dispute with [redacted] that my dress had been ruined and to reimburse me for the dress and alteration. [redacted] does not speak fluent [redacted] so we were assisted by other business owners to translate our dispute. Which resulted in a reimbursement for my alteration money but not for my dress. So I had to go and get myself a new dress and go through the aggravation to settle for something else and now I have a gown worth $240.00 I cant do anything with because its been ruined.Desired Settlement: At this time I would like to get full reimbursement for the full cost of my dress.
