Refused to process cancellation request and kept charging
I submitted cancellation request and emailed the customer support team multiple times. No response to any of the emails or requests. DryBar kept charging the monthly fees. There was no way to contact them by phone and have a resolution. I need the money refunded back to me. This is scam.

Membership Cancelations
I canceled my membership on March 8th. Since May and for 6 months total, I have been charged $80 per month. That is a total of $480. I have been on the phone with you for 20 min. I dont understand what they are saying. Its a terrible connections. Its an offshore support center. They keep telling me I will have feedback within 72 hours. I am not looking for feedback. I am waiting to have my $480 returned to me.

Hi ***,We are incredibly sorry for the delay in getting this refund out to youIt looks like Sophia, one of our Client Relations Supervisors, was working on this with you and sent you an email on August 16th to confirm that your refund was processed that day and would be received within 7-business daysWe are incredibly sorry for the delay but appreciate you following up on this so we could ensure it was resolved.Peace, love, & blowouts!

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I'm NOT satisfied with the Drybar actions because I have discovered that there is an issue of credit card FRAUD committed by this company As follows: On multiple occasions my Visa card was charged an extra $for the wash & blow dry bringing the total to $each time plus an $tip For total of $per blow dryThe extra charges were made without my consent & knowledge by front desk receptionists in the [redacted] location which resulted in unauthorized charges in my cardUnder the Drybar Membership plan I was entitled to a $blow dry no matter what was the length of my hair! Drybar runs on a culture of absolute GREED & FRAUD where the hairdressers get $an hour so there is a major turn around of staff! Their products are inferior water down versions of a dollar store brand which means that it won't work for thicker ethic hair! They stopped using & carrying professional brands so I was forced to spend $100-$in product charges because I provided my own products to the staff! The major issue is the fact that at my last visit the front desk had the FLU & she prepared a tea for me coughing & sneezing & after consuming the food I got sick! I was in bed for month & ruined my vacation to Florida because I was in bed the entire time & lost close to $in expenses for my trip! Drybar only refunded me the Janurary membership fee that I paid but refused to acknowledge the December issues & the credit card Fraud! I talked to a [redacted] in the higher management position who was rude & nasty & lied to me about her education level telling me she had a phd in social psychology which turned out to be an MA not even an MS in a simple field of study! This company runs on greed, lies, credit card fraud & Slave usage of their hair dressers & mistreatment of their costumers for money! They only care about the money & nothing else! I demand two months of $fees back to me, reversal of all the $charges & an apology letter! I'm considering legal action & contacting the news media to enlighten the public about this company's atrocious business practices! No one should provide their credit card information to this company! Further osha should visit this company's salons as well as the health dept for violations! Regards, [redacted] ***

It was the worst experience I bought some product that happen to be on sale and I want to exchange it the amount was exactly the same and they wouldn’t honor the price it was originally sold at.

At this time, I have been contacted directly by Drybar regarding complaint ID ***, however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Please see the review I just added to Yelp!.clearly no one is minding the Georgetown DC shop. Dirty, filthy hair washing stations, big ethnic hair balls on the floor, ghetto music playing so loud we needed to go into the VIP area full of boxes and brushes not washed and reused...what are you guys thinking? One of the richest most professional neighborhoods in the United States and this is what you give us? Many of us are jumping to other salons across the street,or near our work, but it’s not acceptable to sit in an area that smells of bad body order,on filthy chairs to get a modest hair washing. But when reported, and was told that 24 to 48 hours we would hear from corporate..well...you guys just need to come here and pretend you are an actual client..love to hear your experiences...but you won’t be honest...if you were you would cleanup, and clean out that shop!

I had a blow dry whilst on holiday last week in NYC. The blow dry was average and the stylist was most helpful and tried hard. However, I was persuaded to buy a travel dryer as I told the stylist that my Australian dryer didn't work in the USA. He convinced me to buy the travel dryer as it had a transformer to work in other countries due to a transformer. I asked several times as the dryer was $135. On my return home, I plugged in the dryer and a huge orange fireball, lit up the inside. How dangerous not to mention a total waste of money!

Hi [redacted], Thank you so much for reaching out. We are incredibly sorry to hear this happened and have followed up with our Franchise Partners so they can get in touch with you. It looks like they attempted to cancel your membership in May and it did not go through so you chatted with Eileen...

directly. She refunded the $80 on June 22nd, deleted all billing info from your account, and sent two digital gift cards for this error. We will ensure she follows up again!

We are aware of this client’s complaint and have had numerous discussions with her at levels ranging from our front desk staff (“bartender”) to the shop manager and as high as our head of all...

retail stores.  We are very disappointed that we were unable to meet her expectations.  She was issued a refund of one month’s membership charge.  We do hope that she is able to find a new blowout salon that can meet her needs.  These complaints are taken very seriously at our company and we will continue to strive for great customer service.  We wish [redacted] well in the future.
