Review: On March 7, 2013, I visited the Dry Clean Warehouse in [redacted] to pick up clothes that were cleaned. When the cashier brought my clothes back she noted that one of my shirts had a large hole in the back. I explained to her that the shirt did not have this hole when I gave it to them. I asked to speak with the owner. When the owner came out of the back of the store, he immediately went on the defensive. He claimed that the shirt was ripped when I brought it in. He said that he would refund me the price of cleaning that shirt which I paid in advance. I believe the cost per shirt is $1.29. I argued that this was not satisfactory. I asserted that the shirt was not ripped. I also tried to remind the gentleman that I have been coming to his business for over 5 years and at least 2-3 times a week to have my clothes cleaned. I suggested that he could remedy the situation by covering the cost of the three shirts which I brought in to be cleaned. I said that if he did that we could call it even. At that point he became belligerent and said that he doesn’t know me and doesn’t trust me. I asked him to look at my account history to verify that I have been a longstanding customer. I suggested that what I was asking is more than fair and that it would cost him nothing to honor my request. He again refused and said that he would do nothing further. I told him that I would not leave the store until he made things right. At this point he called the [redacted] Police. I told him that I would wait for them. When the police arrived they said that they could do nothing for me and asked me to leave the premises. As I was leaving one of the offices suggested that I file a complaint with the Revdex.com.Desired Settlement: Despite the owners actions, I really like his staff. They all know my wife and I by name and are always welcoming. I would like a credit toward my next visit as well as an apology from the owner.
