We apologize to the customer for our delayed response.  Our General Manager has cancelled the contract effective the date of the customer's vehicle purchase and has issued a full refund in addition to interest for a total credit of $2454.12.  This amount has been sent to the lein holder,...

The agents there try and work you into a false sense of security by giving you the option to look around at some deals they have, and once they run your credit report, they start getting pushy, since if you leave them afterward, you don't have a choice but to have it run again if you get serious about a purchase later.
The biggest issue is that the outright lied about the impact of the report. I specifically asked if this was a hard or soft inquiry to my credit, and they said it was hard, but would only be on my credit report for 6 months, but it's on for a full 2 years and 1 month. I do not appreciate being lied to about the impact that this would have on my credit and then being heavily pushed into accepting a deal. To their benefit, they did try and work with me on finding something that would work for what I was likely to be approved for, but that far outweighs how few options they gave me and the outright lie of the time the hard inquiry would last.
