Drywall & Home Repairs of T & F

T&F was hired to finish drywall in two rooms, after they completed the work we noticed too many mistakes and will not return to rectify the problems.Reference:Drywallandhome repairs of T&FXXX XXX XXXXhttp://drywallandhomerepairstf.webs.comWe used T&F ([redacted]) because the Drywall Company I typically use was not available, we took chance on T&F. We hired T&F to finish the drywall only in two rooms. [redacted] came by, estimated the material and time. I purchased the material and all he had to do is complete the work.He started the work and was doing ok, even though he was starting later in the morning and leaving early, I did not bother me since I was off that week. He also was short on drywall tape during the week, I went got it for him so he's not wasting time.[redacted] finished and since I was doing the painting I decided to pay him in full, and we agreed he will come back to correct any issues typically seen only after the primer is applied. Two days after he finished I applied the primer, and to my disappointed the work he left was of a novice and not professional. All the corners required sanding, re-mudding and sanding again, ceiling tape was bubbling, random areas was not mudded right and required sanding and mudding. It was a nightmare. I contacted [redacted] immediately, explained the situation, he offered to come back and fix it. Few days went by without hearing from him, called again and he promised to come back. Mind you, I am trying to complete the work during my time-off from my job and [redacted] knew that. Every time I called [redacted] he would ask me about what's wrong with his work, instead of stopping by to check the work. Finally he agreed to show up Saturday at 4PM, 3:55 he calls me and tells me he was in an accident. I would him believed him but he did that on previous Saturday, he called me and told me his brother ran out of gas! Since [redacted] delayed us so much, I had no choice but to hire someone else. I called [redacted] before I did that for final opportunity with no luck. I hired someone and because the screw-up [redacted] did, it took the guy two days to correct his mistakes. I contact [redacted] to reimburse me for the money I paid the guy, he again promised he would in twos. Knowing [redacted] I gave him four weeks, I contacted him when the time was up and he would not answer.My advised to everyone out there, stay away from T&F ([redacted]) using phone number [redacted] They're unskilled, dishonest and advertise misleading promises about one-year warranties. I couldn't get him in here the same week, I am not sure how they're committing to one year.Desired SettlementBecause we hired someone else to complete the work T&F left behind, we request $200 reimbursement we paid the other company.
