Overall good result - knowing nothing about removing popcorn from ceilings I asked for a bid - sounded reasonable. I was told it would be about 4 weeks until they could get to me - never received a call until the morning they were scheduled to come so I was a little hesitant that they may not actually show up. Indeed one man that spoke nominal English did show up and quickly got to work. I did not understand until he worked that day that I really needed to remove as much in the room as possible because he was having to wrap plastic around everything. Guess I should have figured that out but his job was a little easier the next 2 days after I saw what he was doing. Also, did not understand they actually don't paint the ceiling after popcorn is removed. You have to have a painter lined up at an additional price. This may not surprise others but I was disappointed the job is not done when they are finished and of course I owe more money. Just a heads up for anyone else. The workman was pleasant and I am satisfied - the plastic catches about 85% so you still have a good mess to clean up but definitely will look better after painting. Keep in mind you still have to paint! I was not told this but realize it was more of a miscommunication on my part.
Used Tire world has been in business for over 25 years or as long as I have been in Huntsville. I understand good service and coupled with friendly associates, reasonable prices, honesty, speedy service (unless they are filled with loyal folks who won't go anyplace else, like me) knowledgeable, and not pushy about what your needs are, this place is rated A-1. The owner is a man of integrity, a deeply spiritual fellow and if you can get him to slow down... a fine guy to talk to. I highly recommend Used Tire World, even if you can afford to buy new tires anytime you wish. Just look for the ol' 'space module' high up in front of the shop and support your local businesses.
