When I came out to bid the job, I told him that either you need to tear out the ceiling or laminate over the plaster to get a good clean ceiling I told him it would cost him so much money but he made it clear that repairing where the plaster had fell out of the ceiling was more important than fixing the whole ceiling Either he or someone else had tried to repair the area of the ceiling before we bid the job, leaving a mess of the repair making it even more difficult to fix the issue I told him I would repair the issue with the ceiling for US dollars, I made it abundantly clear this would not fix the overarching problems with the ceiling, that being it was an one-hundred year old house with one-hundred year old plaster falling from the one-hundred year old ceiling, only that it would seal up the plaster and the tenant would not have a hole in his ceiling He did call me with his displeasure of the work, and accordingly I scheduled a time to come back and talk with said customer but the appointment slipped my mind, after that he called and said he was filing with the Revdex.com I understand that customers want good work for a good price which is what I strive to achieve every time, but my hands are tied when it comes to what the customer is willing to spend Thank you and I personally apologize for the inconvenience to the Revdex.com and to the customer

fixing the whole ceiling.  Either he or someone else had tried to repair the area of the ceiling before we bid the job, leaving a mess of the repair making it even more difficult to fix the issue.  I told him I would repair the issue with the ceiling for 400.00 US dollars, I made it abundantly clear this would not fix the overarching problems with the ceiling, that being it was an one-hundred year old house with one-hundred year old plaster falling from the one-hundred year old ceiling, only that it would seal up the plaster and the tenant would not have a hole in his ceiling.  He did call me with his displeasure of the work, and accordingly I scheduled a time to come back and talk with said customer but the appointment slipped my mind, after that he called and said he was filing with the Revdex.com.  I understand that customers want good work for a good price which is what I strive to achieve every time, but my hands are tied when it comes to what the customer is willing to spend.  Thank you and I personally apologize for the inconvenience to the Revdex.com and to the customer.

I am rejecting this response because: He's not being truthful.  I never told him I was going to contact the Revdex.com.  Second, I never hassled him about the price-he told me his price to fix it not to make it look worst than it did before he worked on it.  Third, his son done the sanding and his son is still learning his craft-he had done some work for [redacted] (the person that told me about the dry wall guy), he had to go back and redone some of the work his son had done for [redacted].  [redacted] told me that dry wall solutions would stand by their work.  Forth, he schedule and reschedule with me to come out and look at the work-he never seen how bad of a job his son did.  it was not professional work.  No I didn't want to pay to have the whole ceiling done, but I wanted it to look better than it did, and it doesn't.  I'm not asking for all my money back, but half of it because I'm going to have to find another person to fix this mess.
Regards,
[redacted]
