Drywall World promised to perform, took an advance, and then never returned Took advantage of Hurricane conditions
On 10/1/18, after receiving drywall damage from Hurricane Florence, I went to contract with *** *** from Drywall World I advanced $1,to get crew started I arranged for drywall to be delivered *** failed to be on site as promised when drywall was delivered, so it was left outside For the next four days, I continued to contact him to come start, and even arranged for a crew to come and move the drywall in place for him This could not have been an easier job He came once, turned his radio and fan on, put up one sheet, then never returned Each day, he would say he was on his way over, then not come He refused to respond to any text, although I know he received them as when I told him his tools were outside my house, he came in the middle of the night to retrieve them He refuses to respond to my inquires for return of my money

hired drywall world *** to remove and replaced water damaged drywall in bathroom and to install new drywall in rest of the house to cover textured ceiling .this was his suggestion on how to do it was just cover it upWell he started in my bathroom removed ceiling replaced with new drywallin the process broke my vanity and laugh saying it was old I said age didn't break it .asked if he had insurance he said no.I told him I'll take the cost off the money still owed .I had paid him up front a week later he needed to buy screws and more material .so I advanced him that' now bear in mind I bought all the drywall need not him.well he didn't come to work the next day .and when he did come back worked for about hours and left .came back on 3-27-at around noon and left around pm.after a number of tries to call him he called back we talked and he said that the bedroom was too much and he had his helpe
