I am rejecting this response because:Good morning:Pursuant to this particular issue and as discussed with your office this morning, I am sending an update to my complaintI was able to order the part for my refrigerator based on information from the repair section of SamsungI ordered the part, but prior to that D&S called and told my husband that nothing we did would work and to please remove the complaint against them with Revdex.comDerrick called me and tried to argue with me about what happened and I told him that we would not be able to agree on this issue that based on their information to the company that issues extended warranties, they had cancelled my warrantyHe said it wasn’t his fault they couldn’t get the partDerrick actually argued with me that the part was called an ice bucket, not an ice maker as I stated in my original complaintOn the outside of the part, it very plainly states, “ice maker.” I had a long conversation with Samsung and they assured me a part was actually available that would workI ordered the part per the information given to me and we installed it yesterday and my ice maker is working like a charmIt was making ice cubes by that evening.However, I want to point out that they have been harassing me over this issueSuzanne has called me no less than five timesThe first time I tried to talk with her and tell her that the part would probably work just fine because Samsung gave me the part numberShe insisted that it would not workShe argued with me about it and I told her that we were just not going to be able to agree and finally hung up on herShe called me back five times after I hung upI did not answer the phone againShe then sent an email asking me to send her the part number and I didShe then called and told my husband it was the wrong part number and it wouldn’t workLong story short, I got the part, installed it yesterday morning, and I had ice cubes last nightHonestly, I think they’re crazyThat is not the way to do businessThey’re wrong, they need to admit it and get over itBecause of them, I don’t have an extended warranty on my refrigerator and I’ve had a whole lot of headache trying to figure this out and take care of it myselfI actually think that repair business is a scamI am not a happy customer.Thank you,*** ***[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, the consumer must give a reason why they are rejecting the responseIf the consumer does not provide a reason if he complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved]

If the consumer does not provide a reason if he complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved]I contacted Samsung myself and they gave me the part number I need to repair the refrigerator. I have it on order. Hopefully I can fix my own refrigerator. D&S has been harrassing me with phone calls daily and today they called me no less than five times telling me that the part Samsung gave me won't work and on and on. There is definitely something wrong with this company. If the part number is wrong that Samsung gave me, then I can return it for a full refund.  D&S caused me to lose my extended warranty in their reponse to the party that sells the extended warranty after coming into my home and telling me they couldn't repair my refirgerator. I would never, ever recommend this company to anyone.

Verbal response:D & S Appliance owner states, the consumer has a Samsung Refrigerator that they are not able to get the part needed to repair for the consumer. They have explained to the consumer that Samsung Refrigerator no longer makes that specific part,  an Ice bucket assembly. The...

consumer has been told that she will need to contact Samsung with any other concerns.  D & S Appliance did not sell the consumer the Samsung Refrigerator, they are an appliance repair business only. The consumer’s original warranty had expired and the consumer had purchased thru a 3rd party an extended warranty. D & S Appliance was paid by the 3rd party warranty company for the service call. The consumer has been told D & S Appliance will be happy to do the repair if the consumer is able to provide them with the part needed. Suzanne M[redacted]D & S Appliance Owner
