 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:The car was starting to have issue about 30 mile after I started to drive the car home (which was 110 miles).  After research, and taking the car to a local shop, they stated they thought the problem was a computer error and advise me to take it to a Certified auto shop/ Transmission shop or dealership. Which I did, not know the price of the repair I waited until I had enough money to fix the repair.  Not until I was told be a Certified auto shop and3 weeks later and a total of 147 miles after I bought the car I would need to spend about the same amount of money that I purchased the car for to get it road ready. Not only did the transmission need replaced I would of had to spend an additional $1200 to get the car to pass inspection.   In regards to contact, I talked to Hal (the sale person) on 9/10/2015 about the issues of the car and what info I got back from the auto shop and he stated he would talk to the owner and reach back out to me on Saturday. I waited until Tuesday to email Hal and received a call from him stating he didn't have any chance to talk to him and he would call me back later in the week, which still hasn't happen.   As stated in the email to hal, " Never heard from you Saturday (which was 9/12/2015), please give me a call to talk about the issue regarding the [redacted] s you sold me"At the end of the day, I sold the car for parts last Sunday (9/27/2015)  as it was non-drive able and not worth the repair as the car is only worth $8k and I am now out of pocket close to $3000.  I still believe they (the owner/Dealer) had some sort of knowledge the car  had or would have problems in the near future. I myself not an auto mechanic would never of known of any issues when I took the car for a 2 mile test drive.  The only reason I am saying they knew of a problem, because it was discussed that I would drive the mini to the Tag and Title office and leave from there, but Hal insisted that we ride together in my other POV, Probably knowing the car would have issues on the way to the tag office. Also, knowing of an issue they dropped the price of the car before I even had two mins to look at it from the original price (which I believe was $8490 on [redacted].com down to 7490) again making me wonder if they knew of any issue. The car is gone for parts, as stated I am at a lost of almost $3000. Which I think is truly unfair to me that I had to take the brunt of the hit because they made a bad investment deal.
