I feel my car was improperly serviced or sabotaged and was altered to cause me future damage or a possible accident or injury. I went to get a oil change (1/30). I was upset because this was the 2nd time I was in and the first time on 1/24 I was told there was a 5 hour wait. I returned and I probably wasn't very pleasant. I checked the oil and noticed the oil mark on the dip stick is almost twice the amount of the fill line. The recommended amount is 3.5 quarts and the receipt shows 5 quarts. Also, shortly after visiting this office I had a flat tire. The puncture was on the white wall of the tire made with a screw that is unrepairable.

We spoke with this customer this morning trying to get everything worked out and also explained we did not appreciate the false accusations she made about our company. We offered anything we need to do to make her happy and she wouldn't here of it. We take these accusations very seriously and I am now going over this with my attorney and looking at a "Defamation of Character" and "Slander" action. People need to be aware of the consequences for their actions. Everybody is so quick to post false and misleading information about anyone's company, Maybe they will think twice if it cost them. It's in writing and "Everything you say can and will be used in a court of law against you"

Don't bother taking your car here if it has anything slightly custom in it. I took my 1972 MGB here with a hydraulic leak, one of the hoses in the transmission had split and the clutch was depressing to the floor but wouldn't let me change gears. My MGB has a *** v6 engine and a *** 5-speed transmission, a pretty common alteration to make MG's more reliable and powerful with American parts easily available. They told me it would be $900 to pull out the transmission to get to the problem. Seemed steep but I guess that's how many hours it would take. They told me the hose had split so it needed to be re-milled, but because the hose had split and poured clutch fluid all over my fly-wheel and clutch kit, it had ruined them too. My clutch kit was only 30k miles old, so it should have had another 50k left in it. And my fly-wheel could've been re-surfaced and returned to the car. I told them it's probably the throw-out bearing that caused the breakage but they insisted, that along with the throw-out bearing, the fly-wheel and clutch-kit had to be replaced.

They said my bill was getting up there so they needed to charge my card before they could do anymore work. To my knowledge we were around $900+parts at that time. The charge came through on my card for $2500. I got a phone call a few days later saying it was all done and the car was running "so smoothly". I then got a call 30mins later saying it wasn't ready, the throw-out bearing they installed was wrong so they'd have to pull it all out and put a different one in. My car was at this place for over a month, I didn't mind because it's not my main driver but you'd think after a month it would be done properly.

They ordered a different throw-out bearing, again it was wrong. They ordered a third throw-out bearing and apparently this one was right but it would be another $300 as it was special. So my total was $2800 at this stage.

I finally went in to pick up my car and I wait 20 mins, the battery is dead apparently

Mr. *** had his car towed into our shop so it wasn't running for us to see. His clutch was slipping all over the place so he never knew how it was supposed to feel correctly. He bought this car the way it was or smoked the clutch himself. The replacement flywheel was matched exactly to the one we pulled out of his car. The way this car was built from one end to the other is thrown together and things need to be fabricated or special ordered. Unfortunately he bought someone else's problem and something he has no knowledge about. This is a vehicle put together with parts from numerous different cars and it is probably why the previous owner got rid of it. Myself and my business partner have a very extensive highly regarded reputation in the racing industry. We have built many cars start to finish that run on the tracks professionally. Everything he is going to need to do to that car is going to be a problem in the future and he is going to pay accordingly because it's not what it is. From the bodywork to the mechanical work on the car the way it was brought to us was not something I would even fell safe driving on our roads.

As far as his bill, we had already returned about $900.00. We did exactly what he wanted and he was told if he wants us to pull his transmission again that he would be responsible for the labor. My guys don't work for free. Like I said before we replaced his flywheel with an exact match of what came out of his car. He's making false claims!

Please feel to contact me.

I did not buy this car with a vibration problem. Why would I? Before the hydraulic leak, I drove this car 45 miles to Glendale and back, and it was as smooth as anything. The facts are; I brought my car into D&S with a hydraulic leak, I have paid for $2000 worth of repairs (including replacing a clutch kit and flywheel that probably didn't need replacing), and the car was returned to me with a massive vibration problem that was not there previously. They can either fix this issue at no cost to me, or refund my entire invoice, because I will have to spend more money elsewhere to have this resolved. Why would I pay them more money to look at my transmission again? They did not do it right in the first place.
