Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: He is a liar and has been stringing me along for months. He never had any intention of finishing my project. He is a known scam artist and I have filed a lawsuit against him. Everything he did on my yard was a mess and a botched job. He didn't complete one single project and didn't even start half the projects. He took my money and went on vacation with it
Regards,
*** ***

I met with the homeowner and we discussed some options for cleaning up her back yard and finishing some work another contractor had installed, doing a full back yard renovation and the owner also talked about the possibility of installing a swimming pool and having me work on that project and
designing and installing patios and planters as well as enlarging the whole back yardI worked up a bid and gave her some price optionsWe agreed to to a $package to renovate the back yard, remove and replace a privacy wall another contractor had installed and replace some pavers with flagstone patio and install concrete and steel plantersI gave the owner the option to limit the project to the $deposit if she wasn't happy with my initial start up and prep work and she told me at the time of signing that she was going to her credit union to apply for a loan to do the $package and we can move forward on the planShe asked me to design a formal plan for the back yard renovation so I worked up color renderings for herShe said she loved the plan and actually applied for a loan in the neighborhood of $40,to have the swimming pool installed and do the full back yard renovation we had discussed since she was so happy with what I had been doing so farhauled off the wall that her other contractor had installed and transplanted the large Crepe Myrtles in her back yard to make room for the new planters and landscaping, I removed the gray pavers she had next to her patio to make room for the new leveling and flagstone that was part of the $planI capped some of the irrigation and installed the new privacy panels we were supposed to install with the new planI reached a point in the plan where I needed to start buying more material to keep moving forward with the $contractThe owner reassured me many times that she was happy with my work and wanted to keep going with the major renovation and at the VERY least we would do the $packageEvery time I mentioned I needed funds to buy more material and keep things moving she told me that here bank and credit union were giving her the runaround and they said it would take another couple weeksThis went on for a month and a halfI continued to go out to the house and get things done and cleaned up and water the Crepe Myrtles I had transplantedI had on of my helpers stain the panels and we reached a stopping pointThe owner texted me and said she wasn't happy with the color and she wanted to have the stain stripped and redoneI agreed to do this but we were still waiting on her loan to go through so that we could at least finish the $package we had started a month and a half earlierShe then told me that her credit union wouldn't lend her the money and that she wanted to go back to our original agreement when we first started that stated she had the option to limit the project at $That option ended the first week after we started the project when she told me she wanted to go ahead and do the entire project and have a pool installed and at the very minimum we would do the $back yard renovationSo I had done a ton of design work, done some haul off, transplanted her large crepe myrtles, removed and hauled the pavers, made many trips out to meet with her and change the designs and plans and water the transplanted Crepe Myrtles and she still wanted me to bring out flagstone, restain the fence panels and do other landscaping all for the $she had given me as a deposit for the $project months earlierI agreed to do some cleanup and haul off some of the material and debris that was left from myself and the previous landscaperWe used the $deposit she gave me with the agreement that we were moving forward with our contract and then she wanted me to spend my own money to finish things after she told me she wasn't getting the funding to do our agreed $projectShe threatened to post negative reviews online and did so before I had a chance to get back out to do some of the cleanup that I told her I would help her withNow she is claiming that I stole her money after she gave me the runaround for months about a loan that never came throughI am still interested in resolving this after she removes all negative reviews she has posted onlinePlease let me know if you need any more information from meThank you ~ ***

Thank you [redacted]    There is so much information and too many details to send everything so I am going to write up a general overview for you to explain the timeline of the project and where things stand now. I have still had my helpers out working on her project...

and trying to get things finished to her liking. I will get this information over to you as soon as possible. Thank you very much ~ [redacted]
